Though here's something that's on my mind. Artists who create their own, unique and original content, will they be able to release their work for free on Fakku should they wish to? There are a lot of comics and other stuff floating out there that I am pretty damn skippy sure is free for the masses. Not to mention its drawn exceptionally well. I like to think of Fakku as a place where high-quality, well drawn hentai/porn is brought together and shared with a sizeable chunk of humans, male and female alike. So what's to say that we gotta have ALL the free stuff vanish? Can we do this? Cos I think we can. I got a feeling.
Well, that and two comics I've been toiling over for a good long time now that I really would like to throw up here. Just saying. Fakku is good about highlighting content, instead of it getting lost in the jungle of G.e-hentai.com
Absolutely, and we've already started working with some western artists to make their work available on FAKKU for free: https://www.fakku.net/artists/doxy

[quote="waterflame"]/edit/:I had a question about the doujinshi, and didn't know if there was a better place to ask this. Like many other Fakku users I am disappointed that I won't be able to get a physical copy of Bosshi's doujinshi because it is only going to be at AX, which I am not able to attend. The digital version on the shop, while not what I want, is a fair way of getting it to fans who can't make it to AX. I noticed that the doujinshi is the same price in the Fakku store as the digital versions of books like Peachy Butt Girls and Renai Sample. Does that mean that the doujinshi is roughly the same size as the books? Or does that mean we are paying a premium because of the doujinshi is currently not available to import from Japan?
I believe the doujin is about 150 pages in total, I'll be making a post with more specifics soon. At Anime Expo it will most likely be priced the same as our normal paperback books, this was actually considerably more expensive to print due to having to find a printer that was okay with the extreme content (loli, tentacles, impregnation, futa, egg laying).

If I were to win, unlikely but feel the need to ask, could I buy a physical copy of the digital book I won for cheaper?Sure, we can make this happen.
Looks like your question was already answered, but yes, all you have to do is purchase one of our books and all magazines chapters that have been released will be available.
Just to answer a specific point that came up in this thread, the bundle of the paperback + digital includes the digital for free. If we did not include the digital, the paperback would still cost $19.95.

I had questions, regarding how the content ban will effect the forums sections.Firstly, will the content within the Nosebleed section also be deleted in accordance with the new restrictions? Also, will this effect any images users post within the confines of any other thread posts?
Secondly, If the content ban extends to images (Nosebleed), I assume there will be some notice prior to any action taken to members who post images that are no longer acceptable to the site, or are the changes only to be enforced on the Manga and Doujinshi sections? While the traffic in the nosebleed section has dropped considerably since I became a member, it is practically a ghost town, now, and I wonder if it is due to members thinking they'll be punished for uploading images that are now restricted.
Lastly, does the changeover to a pay site signal an end to the forums as a free medium? Will access to those sections only be available to paying members? Or will the forums simply cease to exist? It seems to me, that keeping the forums free would enable you to showcase your goods to possible new paying customers, while keeping the spirit of the forums community intact, and also allowing you to keep a finger on the pulse of the market's changing interests and trends.
I do not ask these things because I resent, or protest, Fakku's move to legitimacy, but I simply wish to know how the changes to this site will effect what has become a part of my daily life, even if I don't post as much as some other long-term members. To be honest, I doubt I will ever be a good enough customer to justify paying for membership just to make the occasional post, or share my favorite images with the community.
I apologize if these questions have been answered in other threads. If so, I must have missed them.
The forums should not be affected, they will remain completely open and free.
Actually the original plan was for the paperback to go on sale as well, but we're almost sold out of it! I didn't realize we were so low on inventory, and I want to make sure we have some for Bosshi to sign while we're hanging out with him.
In the future any sales like the one yesterday should include a discount on the paperback version. And we're already getting the 2nd edition of Peachy-Butt Girls printed.

Okay, let me see if I have this straight: Any original doujinshi done by artists Fakku works with (and obviously original manga) are fine, but we're gonna lose the parody doujinshi (stuff for series that already exist, e.g. Bakemonogatari, Infinite Stratos, Is It Wrong to Try and Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon)? Not gonna lie, that's a downer.
It's unfortunate, but that is what will eventually happen before the end of the year.

EZ M☆NEY
CRIMSON SUSPENDER SKIRT.
I am legitimately considering talking with Gomennasai about making that into a real shirt.
Do that and people will want the matching gangsta loli hat to go with it.
At that point we'd have to make the cell phone case as well. If we do, we do it.
This week we have another gift to thank all the FAKKU Books users out there. Today we have a special story that appeared in last months issue of Comic X-Eros. Enjoy Anekomori 2 - Big Sis Shut-In by DISTANCE.

Randomly noticed this in both my favorites and collections - Imperfect Family and Perfect Family show up as just Imperfect and Perfect. They do have correct titles on the PuniKano page, but the actual chapter pages (and their URLs) are missing "Family" at the end. Thanks for pointing this out, I'll get it fixed

Jacob, you really are failing all of your fans here. We have asked for clarity and have gotten none. Most of us are planning on leaving the site and yet you post NOTHING to help us not do that. Really, most of us will leave because we feel you are now a sell out. What have I not been clear about?
Honestly? Most of us had no idea content was being removed. There was no front page post before shit started going down. Even when we got one its like, OH HEY WE ARE REMOVING ALL THE STUFF YOU LOVE SO YOU CAN PAY. I have frequented this site for 6 years, and given it loads of my time and plenty of my money. And yet, all the content I came here for is being removed. The big steps you have for the site includes removing most of the reasons people came here.
That's a valid criticism, this topic was actually meant to serve as the first official announcement about removing unlicensed content. I should have made our intentions more obvious a little earlier.

You can start with making it clear, somewhere, prominently, what happened to the missing tags (that it's a bug that isn't getting fixed anytime soon) and assure people that
A) they'll be back
B) they'll still get content (very unlikely at this point, because licensed works is not where most of the content for the controversial tags comes from, and you can easily see this in most any magazine you plan to currently publish where content is skewed heavily towards a very specific genre: big boobs and vanilla)
Because it's kinda sad that this post is the only time the tags were addressed, which is buried in a different topic, on a late page, not from you and not an announcement.
Missing tags are related to unlicensed controversial content being removed. Because all of the content under those tags is no longer available, the tags have been hidden. The removal of tags has no impact on the content we will be publishing. Also X-Eros has a huge variety of content, I've seen you say it's only "big breasted women and vanilla" but you couldn't be more wrong.

Whats going to happen with the groups/translators using a fakku.net adress like Phoenix Syndicate or CGrascal? Would going legit affect there place here at all?Blogs we host are not impacted by events that happen on the main site. Each blog operates as its own entity.

I honestly thought you were avoiding certain question topics altogether on purpose, seeing as you'd cherry pick easy to answer questions that can be answered with "Trust me, the future is bright!" and answers to paywall questions. ESPECIALLY given the fact that your refusal to answer certain questions was pointed out numerous times by numerous people, particularly in the last thread, before it was split off. You didn't even respond to those who called you out on it. The questions, if answered, were answered, not by you, but by people who defended you and your cause. While that's not bad, I would've really loved a straight answer from you. You're a very slippery person when it comes to questions.
But now that you're asking, I have my own questions. I apologize if these has already been answered before.
Why were "controversial" tags removed first? It was very, VERY shifty in my eyes when you first put it on as mandatory if a person did not have an account. Rather, people should have had to make an account to BLOCK tags, not UNBLOCK them. It felt to me that you prioritized the convenience of people who hated the controversial content over those who were fine with it.
Buuuuut I'm getting carried away here. I made an account, I turned on the options, I got over it. But this.... This is hard to forgive. ESPECIALLY with your weak justifications. You could have EASILY warned us. And why start with controversial content to begin with? Of all the tags.... You didn't even choose one to begin, you wiped it ALL out. I'd like a straight, detailed explanation so I don't have to believe you were okay with punching my favorite tags out for the masses.
Second, you never explained, not ONCE (please provide a quote if I'm mistaken, if so I'm very sorry) to anyone on the forums why there was no warning. Every reply I've seen by you has been about Fakku's amazing future and how you'll try your best to help those without enough money to pay(I was actually very pleased to hear this bit). I would like a clear, lengthy explanation to your unwillingness to consider Fakku's daily visitors and how they'd take the news.
While I'm very happy for the advancements of Fakku, I can't just meekly sit back while my favorite and most frequented site takes away my favorite tags and doujins, especially with no clear explanations or justifications. I really want to think the best of Fakku, honestly. This is just hard to take and you're not lubing it up very nicely with your lacking justifications.
(Sorry for this tank of a conment, I just had a lot to say after reading so many pages of comments qq)
I tend to ignore questions that have already been answered, though I realize it's not easy to track down those answers since they're not all in one place. I also ignore any posts like "LOL WHY WOULD I PAY FOR PORN", I have no problem with those users leaving the website for good. I've made multiple public statements about this over the past few months, my goal is for all hentai content to have an official uncensored release. Everything.
Controversial tags were removed first because they were already sectioned off from the rest of the content. It's not really relevant that they were removed since all unlicensed content is being removed regardless, the controversial content is the easiest to justify removing first since they actually cause us headaches when talking with financial institutions/governments.
