A girl on my BookFace keeps uploading pictures of herself from when she was a teenager. The funny thing is, she looked better then than she does now.

I found this highly amusing.

To clarify I don't have anything against the GameCube, rather it's more of an affectionate nickname I've always had for it. GayCube just makes me think of a Rubik's cube with flamboyant colours on each side.

I'm too sentimental to part with my consoles but now that you mention it, I never did finish Revenge of Shinobi. Managed to download a ROM of Magic Hat's flying turbo adventure and beat that. If anyone remembers Decap Attack, it was the original version of that which was based on an anime.


Now I really want to play Columns. Man that game had some great music.



This particular track was used as the title music of the 6-game cartridge that came with my Mega Drive, which so happened to have Columns on it.

I have the strangest boner right now.

It's good to ponder on nostalgic things you saw as a kid from time to time.

What I really don't like are the 90's elitists, people who claim that not seeing a particular show as a kid makes you somehow less of a person. I don't see the point of making it a competition since we all had different experiences and saw different shows. I never saw Dragon Ball Z as a kid because we couldn't afford extra TV channels, never had a GayCube, N64 or PS1 (PlayStation at the time). Instead I had a Sega Genesis which my brother sold to us because he needed money and didn't really want to part with it; if I'd have known that I'd have taken better care of it. And I didn't get to see Cartoon Network stuff in extensive amounts until my teens.

Spam comments and chain letters be like "If you stop reading this you will die" but does it matter if I'm already dead inside?

Coworker invited me out to the pub after work but I didn't want to so I said "I can't I'm afraid", implying I'd be busy. I later said I wasn't doing anything so I'd give a series a watch when I got home.

There haven't been any for a while. The ones we did have weren't great. They went long before this happened.


Scanlation at its core was a response to the lack of a reliable market for hentai outside of Japan, but it's not legal and many sites have been shut down over it. F! was one of the sites who received a DMCA but we got a deal with Wani so we're now a subscription-based publisher. What we get is legal, high quality, and best of all their law on genitals in porn doesn't apply to us so it's also uncensored. Wani makes money so it keeps them happy, artists get paid for the work they produce, and we get good content. Everyone wins. Except users who want to subscribe via PayPal, PP's weird about buying porn.

There are some freebies (mostly Western talent) and we've had a free-for-all weekend or two.

Supermarket sammich for breakfast as I'd skipped breakfast, two bottles of flavoured water as it's been hot the past few days, homemade cheese and tomato sammich for lunch, a packet of M&Ms on my way home, 3 mini rolls when I got home and fish and chips for dinner,

I've taken a real liking to M&Ms lately.

Payday the other day, got more than I expected. Decided to treat myself with a bottle of Jim Beam honey whiskey. Quite nice.

And when I got home from work my dad gave me a small pot of honey while he was out. For some reason it has a Best Before date even though honey doesn't spoil.

Another hot day.

It was cooler this morning since we had quite a large thunderstorm last night, but then it went into surface-of-the-sun mode again.
