Trying to lift the Pentagon with your mind is stupid. It's not going to happen, and it's just a waste of time. In order for it to happen, the laws of nature would have to be broken. All in all, it is nothing but a shallow way of making a shallow point.

Donating money to a charity, on the other hand, can actually do some good. If a person donates fifty dollars to a charity that helps feed families at Christmas time, then that's fifty more dollars that helps the hungry families. That could feed a family of four, give them a nice dinner.

So, you see, one makes no difference at all. The other give a family something to eat. It may not be a big difference, but it is a difference.

There's a big difference between trying to life the Pentagon up with your mind and donating money to a charity to try to help out the world.

A game costs about $65 after tax. Three games should equal about $195. Not even $200, and the guy is suing for $50,000?

The hippie movement, though it did change some things, was basically just doing drugs. And no matter how hard the hippies fought against whatever, they still got old, and they still lived in a world full of people abusing nature and worshiping money.

I've known a lot of stoners, and I've never met one who was made crazy or overly anxious because of weed. I have met crazy people and anxious people who smoked weed, but they were crazy or anxious beforehand. The weed didn't do anything to them. They got worse as time went by because they were self-medicating with the weed and never did anything that would actually help them.

Maybe. I didn't really think too much about it, just used the dirty ads that McCain's camp and Mac were guilty of as a springboard.

Those Mac ads really piss me off. Not only do they focus on bashing PCs, but when Microsoft makes a legitimate commercial that isn't full of mudslinging, what does Mac do? Make a commercial about how stupid Microsoft was for taking the high ground.

But this thread isn't about computers. It's about the president! And him being a filthy immigrant and a terrorist. Well, that's what I got from this thread.

I pasted them into a Word document, at size 12 font, and it came to about two and a half pages.

It didn't strike me until now, but this election was just like Macs vs. PCs:

- Macs (McCain) ran dirty ads and did nothing but attack PCs (Obama)
- The rivalry between the two was intense, with fans of Macs (McCain supporters) saying that PCs were lame and fans of PCs (Obama supporters) saying that Macs were lame
- There were people who liked a third party OS (third-party candidate) who said that both Macs (McCain) and PCs (Obama) were crazy

The lesson - life imitates art? Something like that. I dunno.
