Adding to the conversation, I once met a guy on a forum a while back who had tasted his semen and had hated the taste, but he wanted to like the taste. He even had a dream where he ate his semen and loved the taste, and when he woke up, he was sad because it was just a dream. It was kind of creepy.

Honestly, I don't care if anime stops getting shown on TV. I never watch anime on TV for three reasons:

1) Dubs usually suck
2) Downloading and watching three episodes back-to-back is better than watching one single episode a day, or a week
3) There's the fear that something has been cut out, whether it's nudity or violence, or the dub has changed some lines to make it more "appealing"

Hell, though I do enjoy buying anime and watching it on my TV, I wouldn't be too heartbroken if the entire anime industry in America collapsed. It's too damn expensive. Pay almost thirty bucks for four episodes? Fuck that. That's part of the reason the anime industry is suffering so much in America, not just because people download it, but because buying an entire anime series costs a hundred dollars, and that's if the series is thirteen episodes long. If it's twenty-six episodes, then it's two hundred dollars. I like anime, but I don't like it that much.

As of today, I have officially been a member of Fakku for one whole year.

Of course, I wasn't a regular member of the forum for the entire year. I only started posting a couple of months ago, in July, I think.

It all boils down to people wanting a reason for violence that doesn't include bad parenting. Or, to be more broad, a reason for anything that is frowned upon by society. When a parent sees his or her child doing something "bad," like beating someone up or looking at lolicon, the parent tries to find a way to pass the blame onto something else. That way, he/she won't feel guilty or be called a bad parent.

Love, Romance, and Relationships might be a better place for this. Or Random.

Anybody know Shikamaru from Naruto? Sort of like him. I wouldn't mind a simple life with a job that doesn't stress me out or make me starve, even if nobody "respects" me or thanks me for doing it.

There are things I would like to do, like owning a shop that sells anime and manga and merchandise. But I'm not realistic about the idea, and if someone offered me such a job, I'd decline it, because it'd be too much work. It's just something to fantasize about, that is only enjoyable when reality can't get its hands on it. Same may say that that is a dream, but I beg to differ. A dream doesn't have to be something that is reasonable, but it should be something that is possible, and owning a store without pulling your hair out is not something that is possible.

I'm alive, and I am going to die. And even if I somehow got my name etched into the annuls of history, it wouldn't matter one bit, because I couldn't enjoy my name being known. I'd be dead and all. So, why bother trying hard?

Of course, I'm not just some lazy bastard who doesn't want to do anything. I can work hard, and I will work hard, but only if it suits me. If it will make my happier, then I'll certainly put forth some effort, but I won't work so hard that I'm not sure if it's worth it.
