So I was replaying chrono trigger on my psx emulator when I got fed up with all the dumb names of my party members. I then proceeded to rename them accordingly:Chrono= Spike (cowboy bebop)
Lucca= Eva (evangelion)
Marle= Louis (Louise from zero no tsukaime)
Ayla= Taiga (Toradora)
Frog= Artur (King Arthur!)
Robo= Mecha (Mechas have plagued many a anime)
Magus= Sayan (Cuz when he runs he flies like a super saiyan!)
and of course I didn't like the time machine's name either.
Epoch= Lagan (TTGL)
I've also ran them through with pretty much every curse word in the book. It gets hilarious when they start yelling BITCH! or CUNT! on the screen.
share with me what you call your rpg parties!
In Final Fantasy VIII, if you name Rinoa's dog "Bitch" or "Cock" or something like that, when you do her Limit Break, you can get "Cock Cannon" or "Bitch Strike."
Also, a better name for Magus would be Piccolo. The two have a lot in common.
I rarely change the names of my characters. I like just letting the game play out with the intended names.
Piano wouldn't work in most of the rock bands that I know of. And it seems completely out of place in metal. Unless it's a ballad or something, but those usually go against the rest of the band's catalog and sound nothing like any of their other songs.
Seriously, would Soundgarden or The Offspring sound better with a piano in the background? No way.

I don't really see the big problem. Most of the anime I watch isn't available in America when I watch it (and I'm not going to wait a year to watch it, just so I can see it "legally"), and I can never afford to buy anime anyway.
No manga would be bad, because there are a few series I refrain from reading online so I can buy the books and carry them around and read them without a computer, but if it happened, I could still live with it.

Ugh. They're not going to have each hero fight the villain from his respective game, are they? That's so boring.
It'd be much more interesting if Cloud fought Kuja of Kefka or something.
God, I love that song.
And it makes me want to actually play Final Fantasy IV. It's been a while since I've fought four bosses with the four elements.

Dante, but it IS infringing on my safety, even if you might consider it nominal. Vehicles are forced to pass emissions tests for a reason, and you sure wouldn't enjoy inhaling a lungful of exhaust.But vehicles, even if they are up to code, still expel quite a lot of exhaust. Should all vehicles that use gasoline be banned because they expel exhaust?
As for banning smoking, I'm going to have to give the usual argument - why not ban alcohol first? Alcohol does a lot more harm than smoking. And a person doesn't have to drink for decades to die. A person could die from one night of drinking. Just one.
They've already banned smoking in 90% of areas, and if they need to raise taxes, the first thing targeted are cigarettes. Isn't that enough? Besides, if you have a filter mask, what's the problem? Can't you just put it on and have no trouble? Or, you could ask the person smoking to turn away from you or put out the cigarette. Most smokers I know would do so if someone asked them (as long as it was reasonable).

Two examples:Gundam 00
and
Ender and Bean series by Orson Scott Card.
Unless something happens along those lines, a hegemon-like community on Earth will never exist.
Bringing up Gundam, in the original Universal Century, the Earth Federation came about because the world was in terrible shape because of overpopulation. This was solved by moving people into space colonies, but then the whole "Colonies shouldn't be governed by Earth" stuff started. That's not really important though. What is important is that the Earth Federation was created because all of mankind was in danger, and even after solving the problems, people still didn't want to be governed by one all-inclusive power. The people in space (a lot of them, at least) wanted their own government independent of the Earth Federation. A unified Earth may get a lot done, but even if the entire Earth unites, it probably won't last forever.
Furthermore, the Earth Federation was very flawed. It was better than the Zabi family and Zeon, but not by much. Perhaps multiple governments are the way it's meant to be, so that one government can say about another, "What they are doing is evil," as a way of promoting goodwill for everyone.

Hey guys, just wanted to tell you all that Tao sex is awesome! :D it's the trick that will give you many orgasm in a row !! :P
I recommend it if you want to feel better than before, just train some and it will pay off the hard work 8)
BTW anyone else mastered it besides me?
1. Are you a man or a woman? Because if you're a woman, then multiple orgasms is no big deal. And it doesn't concern me, because I'm not a woman.
2. Links! Give some links so others can learn how to do this shit.
3. How much work is really involved? Great orgasms sounds nice, but if I'm not going to exercise to keep from having a gut, I'm definitely not going to go through a lot of work just so cumming will feel a bit better.
lol'd hard. :lol:
I wasn't trying to be funny. I was being honest.

boxtorrents.com has a ton of great anime to download. You have to use torrents, but that's really not a lot of trouble.
Words cannot express how much I love that.
My high school marching band (I wasn't a part of it, to be clear) did Final Fantasy songs and performances one year, but this performance is definitely better than the Final Fantasy stuff.

hmm, satanism and their different believes or whatever arent exactly my specialty, my question though would be why call it satanism if it doesnt involve satan?you could still call it carnalism or sth similar...
Anton LaVey called his religion Satanism so it would be seen as an opposite to the Christian church. It was kind of his way of flipping the bird to Christianity.
There's more to it than that, of course, but that's the simple reasoning.
The important thing is to post pictures of the person you want to win. When a battle starts, enter the thread and post the best pics of the girl you want to win. Because if a person hasn't seen the show, which is very possible since a lot of shows have characters and I doubt more than a handful has seen every show, they probably won't know the character. So, fans! It's your job to let the people who don't know the characters know why a character should win! Don't expect everyone to have watched the same shows you have watched.

A friend of mine (who's big into Japanese music, and music in general) said that Japanese bands that are popular in America tend to be disliked, or not very popular, in Japan. He gave Puffy Ami Yumi and Dir En Grey as examples.Is this true? I don't follow what's popular in Japan, but I haven't heard any opening or closing songs by Dir En Grey except that one from Fullmetal Alchemist. A lot of the popular Japanese bands I've heard about have at least two songs used in anime series.
I'm not sure about other Japanese bands since I only listen to a few, but as for DeG I think they're pretty popular in Japan. They have performed in the Osaka-jÅ Hall (a very prominent place for international music performances) during the 90s and soon again in December. In their touring DVDs their shows are really packed and their sales in Japan are pretty strong so I wouldn't say they're disliked in Japan and that justifies it. But as for other Japanese bands I don't know. 8)
Well, my friend wasn't exactly saying that Japanese bands liked in America are disliked in their home country. He was saying that once a Japanese band becomes popular in America, the band usually loses popularity in Japan. But if Dir En Grey is going to perform in the Osaka-jÅ Hall soon, I guess that means my friend wasn't 100% right.
