I bought two, Metal Slug 3 & 5, in an Arcade store in Houston awhile back for a combined total of $1,250 and one off ebay, Metal Slug 2, for $890.

Well, inspiration is always a nice thing.
I would say go with the coloring style you have been using with your recent pics.
They have that certain gleam that brings out your art to life.
