For the most part, those men are so insecure about their sexuality that they do things they believe directly contradicts their sense of manliness in a fruitless attempt to make themselves appear heterosexual. The only purpose of a snuff film is to document the murder of a person or multiple people. The ends to which it is used are irrelevant. Its common knowledge that criminals will occasionally take something from the scene of their crime as a trophy. Snuff films are, in many cases, an extreme example of that type of behavior.



I doubt it was the same video, but I saw a video with some guy trapped under a truck and he was squirming around. Through most of the video there wasn't too much blood, until the end when his head kind of popped off. Obviously it was disturbing, but it was also kind of entertaining.

I've seen a lot online. Everything is disturbing on some level, but even when I though that something would be too brutal, I've been surprised by how little I've been affected, even when I watched people being tortured. Honestly, I think I could handle watching videos of just about anything, but I know seeing that shit in real life would be on a completely different level.

Well, there you go. Just because you heard something doesn't mean that it's true. I'm not gonna say anything about you being "too lazy to look it up" because I've been too lazy to look things up. However, people say shit a lot and, more often than not, they're wrong.

Its hard to believe that any prophecy makes mention of 2012 because they've all mentioned at least one date before 2012, until that date came and passed without anything happening. As far as any resource I could get my hands on are concerned, there aren't any prophecies that explicitly mention the world ending in 2012.

Personally, I find quantum physics, as well as anything related to it, fascinating. However, its important to remember that knowing something and being able to apply what we know are two completely different animals.

Part of the problem with overeating among humans is that, although we can mass produce food, not all products contain everything we need. Therefore, many people who choose what to eat based upon taste preferences, are forced to eat more to gain the necessary nutrients for survival.



To an extent, I agree. Addiction isn't something you have control over. Don't get me wrong, you can take precautions, but you're still walking on thin ice. If you choose to step out there and fall through, that's how shit goes. Conviction only goes so far, but if you push it, eventually you'll fuck yourself over.

I'm a heroin addict. I haven't done it in over 2 years, but it's not like I can just chill with shooting up or sniffing it and be straight for the rest of my life. Real addiction doesn't just exist within you, it becomes a part of you. No matter how far I distance myself from heroin, it's gonna linger with me for as long as I live.

Addiction is an aspect of personality. You can repress it, or do what ever you want, but that shit lives with you and the only thing you can do is find a way to live with it.

From what I can surmise, this is all about bitching about people who can't give something up because of a psychological addiction. I can understand that. I smoke about a pack a day, and I don't want to stop, but that's my choice. As far as psychological addictions are concerned, I get it. I even understand that, to an extent, physical addictions can be ignored. However, there is a point where one may become so addicted to a substance that the withdrawal symptoms are so intense that they can be fatal.

Aside from that, it seems that this entire thread completely ignores how far addiction will force people to go. Idealistically, the strength of will can overcome anything, but what does it mean when someone with a strong will is going door to door collecting money for a fake charity to supplement his heroin addiction?

Sometimes narcissists are the way they are because they've never had an experience that would make them think otherwise, or they're psychologically unequipped to deal with reality. In situations like that, tact is necessary. You don't want someone to commit suicide simply because you made them realize they weren't the definition of epic. I can't say that I've dealt with "a lot" of narcissists, but I've dealt with a significant number. There are a lot of people, not just narcissists, that haven't been properly introduced to reality. For those people, the best you can do is expose them to "truth in moderation."

If they are assholes about it and continue to believe they're the greatest thing in the history of things, that's when you are obligated to beat the living shit out of them with the first blunt object you can grab.

I won't say that its certain, but its a possibility. To say that it isn't is tantamount to saying that there is absolutely no merit in the teachings of religion because they are based upon allegorical stories and/or somewhat embellished stories derived from the experiences of people who lived through natural occurrences that science can provide evidence of.

Unless there is absolute proof as to whether something does or doesn't exist, there is only uncertainty. In the face of uncertainty, to deny the potential of any possibility is nothing more than an ignorant assumption based upon an insubstantial understanding of the topic in question.

Interpret it however you want, but if you're worried about bears and you can't handle them unarmed, you should think about living somewhere else.

The forces of nature are strong. Guns are a safety net. If you had a gun and you came across a bear with a gun, would you shit brix?


Nature only kills off the weak. Think about it. Why is it that when wolves, lions, tigers, or any other carnivorous predator is injured, or otherwise incapable of catching their natural prey, they resort to hunting humans? The answer is simple, we are easy prey. As a species, we may be unique because we are bipedal, but in nature, that only means we are slow and clumsy. Our only true advantage is that we can destroy and warp our surroundings into something so unnatural that it scares any living thing that would prey upon us in a natural setting shitless. In the wild, left to survive on our own natural instincts, humans are as good as fucked.

Perhaps, but it seems more like reality to me. Scent may be irrelevant, but people pay a lot of money for clean piss. My brother paid me $100 a month and all I had to do was stay away from opiates for a little less than a week and piss into a flask. I'll admit, it was a bitch to stay away from it for about a week, but at that time, with what he paid me on top of what I had, I was set to chill for about 2 weeks.
