It might be a little weird, but being the guy I am, I think could work with it. It would actually be kind of cute, so its not like it would be a turn off.
I do have to shake my fist angrily at you illumi, because of you I'm looking up the seiyuu for Pokemon and trying to figure out which ones I'd fuck.

i only agree with your idea if Jacob has a new prize for the winner.without any prize, this battle will be meaningless since we're only vote for nothing, but only for killing time.
Sometimes, it isn't always about the prizes given out. Polls add some form of entertainment to the forum, which need not necessarily be full of words and replies by themselves.
In addition, voting allows one to see the opinions of other members.
yes. voting for fun isnt bad either. i already suggest to make another new motemote battle.
giving prize for the winner is the way to attract more peoples to vote for motemote battle.
i dont know if people still enjoying to vote without a prize.
Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of the prize idea. I mean its a pretty good idea, but its not really necessary to draw in voters. Anyway, the prizes were only for the people that were around before the contest who were able to fill out the brackets. So, unless those people were having friends join to vote in order to help them win, I don't really see it having much bearing on the contest.
I really saw the MoteMote battles as a way for us all to celebrate our love for the women of anime, even though a lot of them weren't so much women as they were girls.
I think that while my idea still maintains the Motemote theme, it also gives more leeway in regard to the true appreciation of the actual characters. As displayed by the dissatisfaction with the outcomes of the battles, its obvious that in the end, the original format for the contest left openings for questionable results.

@Aion Crux: You have a semi-valid point. Killing the rapist ain't a option, but beating him to a pulp is.Why semi-valid? Because chances are that the rapist is more dangerous and crazy than you and that the rapist would have some sort of weapon on them are high.
However, by running away and calling for help, you are subjecting the girl to an experience unfathomable to a guy, and by the time the authorities get there, she can either be 1) mentally broken, 2) injured or dead, or 3) kidnapped or mutilated.
Frankly, I'd rather not have the onus of being some fuckin bystander and letting some innocent girl or woman get raped by some crazy mofo.
Props, Jacob, I like your stance.
Although anyone can rape anyone anywhere and that in the world hundreds of people are raped every minute, a rough estimate based on vague statistics, the chance of you stumbling upon a rape in progress is very low. Ideal places for rape are secluded and, in most cases there are a wide variety of objects just laying around at the site. Rapists tend to target weaker victims or take them by surprise because although the struggle may get them off, its not "fun" if their prey struggles too much. Rape is a very primal reaction to natural urges. Likewise, when a rapist resorts to violence, it too is generally a primal response.
It sounds kind of odd, but a person with a clear mind can perceive the violent reactions of rapists as rather predictable. Of course its rare for victims to be raped and keep a level head, but people who stumble across the rape and choose to do something don't necessarily go completely ape shit on the rapist. Of course when guns are involved, it complicates the situation, but with other weapons, its not that hard to fuck someone acting on primal instincts up with something that's just lying around, even if you get cut up or stabbed a few times.
On the subject of killing rapists, there really isn't anything all that wrong with it. I mean my morality would naturally put me in a position where I would find it objectionable, but its something that can be both morally and legally rationalized in many cases. There's nothing to the idea that you are lowering yourself by taking their lives nor is there any truth in the fact that they are lower beings for their actions. Regardless of what you're doing, you're doing it because its a part of being human. Many humans are afflicted by uncontrollable urges to rape others, some have similar urges to eat pancakes.
If you find something wrong with my rationale, don't hesitate to speak up. Just as you may find it hard to believe that I can compare the action of rape to that of eating pancakes, I find it difficult to believe that people think of rapists as sub-human. I'm not making light of the situation. The fact of the matter is that humans are disgusting creatures that are just as prone to rape as they are to using cellphones, overeating, or playing baseball.

How different does breast milk taste from that which comes from cows and other animals? I know there is a variance in taste between cow and goat milk.I can't say from personal experience, but I've read that human milk is thinner and sweeter than cow milk.

WITCHES!!! Burn them all!!!oh yeah, dont you know that Cat is Witch's pet?
do they need to burn you too?
To answer your second question first, I'm not a cat, so no.
Technically cats aren't witch's pets, they're familiars. The difference being that they are considered to be spirits that take the form of animals. As opposed to the typical role of a pet, familiars which can be animals other than cats, take on a more significant role and are pretty much the western equivalent of an onmyouji's shikigami or a Yakut shaman's yekyua.
So, a while back I was talking about an idea I was working on for the next Motemote contest. Here's what I've got so far. Like I said its just a concept I've been toying around with. I see some areas where there could be improvements made, but I thought I should throw it out there to see what you guys have to say. There's the question of how many characters could participate and a whole mess of other details that I purposely left out at this point.
Basically what I'm think of is some kind of contest that involves rating characters on certain qualities. As opposed to having battles for each round, its kind of like a battle royal and since its based on an rating system, regardless of how many people participate the ratings can be averaged to give each character a fair chance. Being that there aren't 1-on-1 battles, characters won't be subjected to harsh beatdowns and have a leveled playing field against fan favorites like that bitch Haruhi. This concept is pretty versatile, seeing as how a winner could be chosen after the rating period comes to an end, or there can be multiple rounds based upon who gets the highest scores. Initially I was coming up with the idea as a kind of qualifying round for the next MoteMote contest.
The ratings could be done a number of ways. There could be a poll where the options are the scores or the users post their ratings and later on during the contest we pick one or more users to calculate the averages for each character. I personally like the posting of ratings better because that way we can sift out all the bullshit with some kind of extra rules concerning whether a rating is valid or not. I won't lie, it would take some time to go through the posts in order to weed out the crap, but in the end it would serve to cut down on the bias in the end results.

Requiem from the Darkness... its a fucking masterpiece. Technically its classified as horror, but its just really dark. If Edgar Allan Poe were to make an anime, it would turn out something like Requiem. Even the animation style they used to do it is fucking nuts.
Watch it, now. If you've already seen it, watch it again... damn it.

It would be great if you were chilling with one of those psycho Vietnam vets and you got him so drunk he passes out, then you drag him into one of those restaurants. Holy fuck would it be funny when he woke up to the sounds of bombs going off and gunfire. lmfaomy dads a vietnam vet asshole
Chill out man... I never said that I had anything against them. I know a lot of people that served in Vietnam and I realize the psychological, mental, and physical toll it took on a lot of them.
I'm kind of at fault because I don't come with a warning sign. What anyone should know about me is that I will, inevitably, piss you off at least once. I'm not like the people on here that go out of their way to piss people off, its just something that happens.

Yeah, there were some anime's that made me cry. But the most distinct one that made me emotional was Ghost in The Shell: SAC near the end where the Tachikoma's were trying to protect Batou, and where the Major got sniped and Batou was crying out her name.I agree about when the Tachikoma got owned, but not when Motoko got sniped. I mean come on, she's Motoko fucking Kusanagi, there's no way a sniper could take her out, she's just that damn good.
