Im against cash shops as well and usually dont like playing games that have them. But in BF3 it is fairly different then the common fare you would find like in a MMORPG. Often then not cash shops in mmorpgs get you items that can only be obtained by the shop rather then worked for. somtimes these items are stronger then the kind you can grind.
In BF3 its different all the items for sale are guns you will eventually get so it doesnt really make that much of a difference, and honestly you cant really tell if a person who killed you had purchased the pack(s) or not. Unless there like level 1 with an as val or something lol.
Over all its barely impacted the game at all, so dont worry :)
What bothers me about this is the fact that I'm already a Colonel and had unlocked every gun except the MK3A1 shotgun (need the vehicle kills). Also, the annoyance of getting my ass blasted across the walls by an AA12 was somewhat lessened by the fact that the guy killing me had, in fact, EARNED that weapon and him killing me with it was a result of his efforts. Now, if I get killed in a similar manner, it's much more likely that my killer (or his parents, which is even worse) had actually bought the gun used to kill me and had effectively beaten me with money.
That's just how I see this, anyway.
At least with buying guns on ME3, I thought it was okay due to it being strictly co-op multiplayer. That, and the fact that the items given in the packs were also randomized.
Just installed the update and was about ready to start playing a few rounds of Rush. Then I saw the shortcut packs in the BF store... Lost all will to play the game.
My main/best in SC5 is currently Mitsurugi. I've gotten real good at using his feints and counter attacks. Devil Jin is a close second. Though, my overall favorite character in the series is still Nightmare.

Brink, enjoyed it, wasn't perfect though but im fine with thatHonestly, I thought the only real downside to Brink was the terrible AI. Don't get me wrong, the enemy AI will fuck your shit till the end of time, but your CPU controlled teammates will be too busy with trying to capture non-essential secondary objectives to even consider helping you. That said, game's a LOT better when played with friends. Also, some more maps would've been appreciated.

Possibly Dead Space, at the very end of the game when your dead girlfriend attacked you.WOAH WOAH WOAH! Spoiler alert, man!!
Game's been out for a couple of years. And the dead girlfriend thing is a major plot point in the second game. It's past the point of being a simple spoiler.
OT: I gotta go with that creepy-ass dentist from the begining of Bioshock.
Wanted: Weapons of Fate. Game may be the shortest and easiest (on the hardest difficulty at that) video game that I've ever beaten, but I'll be damned if don't feel like an absolute badass while playing it.
Been playing the multiplayer a bit and unlocked the falcon grenade launcher. While using this gun, I seem to run into a weird glitch that makes the gun fires blanks if you pull the trigger too rapidly. The gun will shoot and you use up ammo like normal, but no grenade leaves the barrel. So you're effectively wasting ammo while the enemy is unharmed.
Anyone else getting this problem with that gun? I mean, it's still usable and it's pretty damned effective at crowd control, but that bug practically ruins the weapon if you tend to go into "panic mode" like I do against Banshees and Geth Hunters/Pyros.

It's fake. Well made, but fake. I doubt that an actual trailer would recycle sound clips from N64 games.
My typical team is a combination of either Deadpool/Dante, Taskmaster/Rocket Raccoon, and Iron Man/Doctor Doom. Deadpool and Dante, I use to keep preassure on my opponent. Tasky and RR, I keep around for their defensive play and often switch to them when my opponent is pushing a little too hard. Iron Man and Doom, I like for their long range play. Doom's molecular shield is my go-to assist.
My team's more oriented for more adaptive fighting, kinda like a rock/paper/scissor method of looking at the game. Someone's playing with a close-range fighter like Wolverine, I'll switch over to Tasky and lean hard on his counter specials and arrow volleys. Of course, other people usually build their teams to support their best fighter, but I don't really have a "best" fighter. Just a handful of characters that I know how to properly use in a match.

One of my gripes with battlefield 3 is the vehicles can be kinda annoying, especially since the helicopters are nearly impossible to hit if they have flares.Learn to fake out the chopper pilots by keeping a lock on them for a few seconds without firing. This often tricks a lot of rookie pilots into deploying flares early. After they drop flares, lock on again and fire as fast as possible.

I saw all endings in youtube. It is not different at all!! Some ME3 players told me that "you must end the game at least two times for getting the real ending". It is true? When you beat the game with an imported character, you get some ending clip of some Stargazer (voiced by Buzz Aldrin) telling a story about "The Shepard". That's it. Doesn't add anything to the story.
Edit: Also, after playing through the other ME2 again, I came across a conversation with Mordin (that I've completely forgotten about) that makes the Synthesis choice sound like the worst of the three possible endings.

Mah nigga Erik Kain mentioned him in an article.Oh, so he's not just a pretentious prick, but a hypocrite as well? Makes you wonder how a guy like him even landed a job at IGN in journalism.
Also, found a vid that has more thought out reasons as to why the ME3 ending doesn't belong. It's pretty long, but the guy brings out some really good arguements that I've never thought about before.

Spoiler:
ign's "expert" analyst
First, he's saying BioWare should keep the original ending out of artistic integrity. Then he defends EA's business plans with the DLC? Does Colin not realize that Art =/= Business? You can't have it both ways, so choose a side and stick with it.
Also, that guy reaks of pretension.

Just... can anyone spoil me how the ending is? I wanna know why this makes people rage so much.there is actually a shit ton of endings. 16 if I remember correctly
16 endings? Is this a fucking VN?
Here's a vid showing all of the endings in the game at the same time. No real difference between them other than a color swap.
Spoiler:
Edit: For a bit more context, here's a vid explaining why the ending as a whole sucked.

Because the number 3 usually sucks. Just look at Mass Effect 3 and Modern Warfare 3.Wrong, Metal gear solid 3: Snake eater was legendary.
Except for that yes you're right!
What about Fallout 3, GTA 3, and Quake III?

Eh, there IS a relay in the Sol system--Charon relay, as in right next to Pluto. So IDK why people are saying it isn't possible for Joker to have escaped through a relay with the rest of the crew as he saw the Citadel exploding. Did people just forget about that relay or something?I can completely understand how someone can overlook that relay in the ME lore. Hell, I never knew that Pluto's moon was actually a mass relay until reading that link. I've always assumed a relay was found just outside the system where it'd go unnoticed until space travel had evolved to the point that humanity was able to discover it. Also, It's not like they give you the names of each relay you come accross in the galaxy map. With the exception of the Omega 4 relay, anyway.
That said, there's still accounting Joker's travel time to the relay. While I'm still not sure exactly how long it'd take for the Normandy to travel from the Earth to Pluto's general location, I imagine it'd still take longer than the few seconds given after the Citadel exploded.
