I won't deny the possibility of inter-race conflict going on(in fact I'm excited by the idea and it's already happened if Old Deus took the Warbeast piece) and in hindsight I should have added in "if they move at their current pace it's too slow" but considering the already speedy nature of NGNL if they plan on condensing multiple race piece conflicts in one season it's either going to be extremely rushed or a miracle. Thinking long-term wise unless something groundbreaking happens like Blank receiving 1/3 or more of the race pieces simultaneously at some point (<-highly likely considering that time squabbling over the lesser pieces is going to be detrimental to the series after the rush from the greater pieces wears off), NGNL would likely need a third season to fully wrap up.

I feel a bit finicky about how they basically inserted Steph's victory over Izuna using very open-ended elements from earlier on in the arc but the impact of watching Sora and Shiro get nailed was definitely impressive. The coin flip was adrenaline pumping and well orchestrated. That cliff-hanger about the old gods taking the Warbeast race piece may never get answered.

Debating on season 2 from a completely inexperienced standpoint. Sixteeen is a really big number for season 2 to cover and considering this season covered only two of the race pieces, making more seasons for NGNL would be a huge profit investment and very risky. I'm not sure how NGNL would survive long term either. So I want to hang on "unlikely".

I'm convinced that they did that just to make Rentarou seem tough, him stabbing that guy was very out of character and the justification behind doing so holds on shaky grounds. Maybe the LN did a better job of describing why he did that.

FUCK they killed the Kemonomimi. Someone will pay for this. Pretty well done scene despite being hamfisted, however the time allotted was so small it would've been hard to accomplish what they did with Midori. Kagetane is still fumbling around with Rentarou's zipper but now it looks like Rentarou's opted to look him in the eyes while he's doing so and he's letting his wives watch too. Ofc that little prick from the Tina arc has to stick his runty little nose into their business again because god knows that some harebrained lout thought it was smart to let a maniac that tried to murder government officials during the assassination of the president to fight in a war that determines the lives of thousands of people WITH the people he tried to kill. There needs to be extenuating circumstances behind this.

The first one pertains to the Mekakushidan finally shaking off the hazy dreams of normality that shackled them and using their red eyes to enter the Daze for themselves for Mekakushidan's grandest operation yet: awaken Death-god Azami and whoop Saeru's ass. What excites me the most is that this potentially takes place AFTER summertime record according to the bus sign..meaning that this could be the true route.

The second one. A majority of the video pertains to how Azami's eternal life makes both strife and joy pass by so quickly, as if she was dreaming the entire time. I really liked the bus sign behind Azami and the Mobius Strip it was superb symbolism and foreshadowing. The ending was particularly interesting, it showed how Azami finally woke from her nightmares to see her Hibiya and Hiyori's turmoil triggering her intervention. Accelerating forward Azami takes a look at the curse of August 15th and sees that the Mekakushidan left a signal for her and she leaves the train, which can be interpreted as her dying or finally returning to the real world.

They rez'd Hitoe so she can die horribly next season, wouldn't it be the most hilarious thing in the world if Tama was found by Akira.
