Though I think they are taking source from the music video, manga and Light novel? Yes it's more accurate to say it's related to the series as a whole, but the LN is more straight-forward than the others. Since Jin's in charge of the LN, Mvs and (tentatively)anime he's using his own material so it's not so much referencing/sourcing but more like re-purposing.

Maybe they are just trying to make it understandable for people who haven't had any contact with any of the original sources? You are close to the problem, one issue is that they are juggling around the responsibility of entertaining the fans and people new to the series which makes it a mediocre experience for both(from my perspective). I want to bring down the hammer but there's still one episode left and I really want to believe in this adaptation.
"Last episode: Summertime Record" but..but science..
So the anime is diverging from the LN. Potentially worrisome because whenever an anime radically deviates from the source material(manga, LN, VN) bad things like the first adaptation of Full Metal Alchemist or E rated One Piece can happen and this episode in particular had weirdish pacing throughout.

Hoo, he's lower than Tina. Well, I can understand that. Thanks~Lol, Hakumen is a zombie, too (I know about the other two only)?? Eh, but as a 'pure justice', Hakumen lacks of lunatic mindset and behavior, which makes Kagetane cooler in my view (though Hakumen is more intimidating, ahue).

BTW, anyone knows Kagetane' Promoter ranks? I don't think he had said that before...134 when he was working for the civil service agency.

Anyhow this is where I bring up the fact that this episode had too much to absorb in one sitting again.
Spoiler:
Aww Fredrica has a boo-boo someone give it a kiss
I had Layla pegged down the instant I saw her makeup, no sane Chaika would ruin the look.

THE JUKES ARE REAL.

Things just go by so damn fast, I'm quite fond of that type of pacing but this episode left a bit too much to absorb in one sitting.
One episode left.

Like Solanin said, VNDB is the way to go. If you want to track a VNs translation or just somewhere to browse for translated VNs go to VNTL. Notably VNDB does not let you actually download VNs, it's there for information so if you don't already know places for reliably downloading Nukiges Moe-Moe Kyun and Erogedownload
The above Nukige is the Violated Hero series this is the first one, it's got poorish gameplay elements and really good H-cgs but I decided to look elsewhere when the male protagonist started getting impregnated by Futas.

Geralt. Western fantasy's Solid Snake. No not even close, they're not even in the same genre.
Rentaro elopes with a gay-zombie robot rather than his band of cosplaying wives. I should have seen this coming.

If you watch the E3 presentation, you'll see that meditation is still alive and well, which I see as a good thing. Despite the ridiculous circumstances you might be able to put yourself in, I much prefer the practicality of meditation on demand. It just makes the gameplay less tedious.
I realize it's meditation now and in hindsight it's better off this way considering the open-world, but what confused me was exiting meditation now leaves behind an extinguished campfire that can be used, it seems strange to have extinguished campfires when meditation has more-or-less replaced that function in the Witcher. My best guess would be that it's quest related.

I am pretty sure that the Godling is just trolling Geralt by keeping his mouth shut until you kill the whatever that is at the top of that mountain. I don't really care much for graphics but I admit that Igni producing steam after hitting the water or the blood diluting in the water after the Aard was cool.
I think they returned to some of the aspects of the Witcher 1: Signs as crowd control (group-style was usually better though), more open-world, campfires, maybe more as details are released. I think the decision to go back to campfires rather than meditation was wise because I remember squatting on a protruding ledge of a broken keep below a fire-breathing dragon to make potions that floated in midair and that was just silly.
It's probably not going to happen.
hentai.animestigma is good, but sukebei.nyaa.se is probably one of the better sites if you know what you are looking for or you can just browse reliable uploaders.

[color=#ff69b4]Any clue what he means by "To become a human again you need human blood and is where the online component comes into play"?
It would turn me a bit off the game if the only why you could go back to being human again is doing something like PvP.
My best guess would be that they'll have you kill other players then harvest human blood from their corpses (which means you can't invade beast-mode players as a beast?). It's unlikely that PvP is going to be the only way to turn human and Masaaki Yamagiwa from Japan Studio said they'll talk more about online later on this year. Considering it's only been four days since Bloodborne's confirmation it's probably best to wait for more concrete information.
Ergo Proxy. Some of the characters are masterpieces and others make me want to forget they ever existed but that was the minority, the setting is really damn deep in the sci-fi department and while the ending did tie up everything in a fantastic fashion it left off on a trailing note. I got pretty exhausted near the 19+ mark because some of the character interaction felt pretty hamfisted and some of the episodes in that area were completely inconsequential so eh. It's good.
Mardock Scramble, there's some tit flashes and rape scenes if you're uncomfortable with that sort of thing. Nailed characters, everyone that wasn't thrown into the chopper was a fleshed out masterpiece carrying deep and intriguing interactions with the other characters. Fight scenes were gorgeous, the animation is top notch, the setting is in that greyish area between medium and light sci-fi but manages to give enough information to live by. It's a damn masterpiece go watch it and if you ever find a golden mouse in your life, marry it.

Thanks. I should really subscribe to Vaati one day, or I'll keep missing this stuff.
"They are replacing magic with gadgets, guns and such. Main mechanic seems to be related to blood and blood is also used to regain your HP and gain various other benefits."
"You get blood sucking it from corpses or items. Sucking too much blood will turn you into a beast which I suppose is this game’s Soul/Hollow form. The game will apparently become a lot harder to play/control when in beast mode. To become a human again you need human blood and is where the online component comes into play," reads the details from Famitsu as translated by NeoGaf user.
Blood mechanic sounds amazing because in the Souls series you would consume souls but besides moral implications there wasn't really much weight to doing so. I also love the idea of offensive gameplay in Bloodborne, there were too many encounters in the souls series that were passive and favored shield builds.
On a side note the weapon that the Bloodborne is using in the clips is a double barreled shotgun, so expecting lever-action guns is not too far fetched?

Hayao Miyazaki confirmed working on Bloodborne.
In all seriousness I love what they did with the gore, the blood now flies and splatters all over the floor so when you finish up a mob encounter I expect the floor will look like a mess. The monsters look terrifying too, coupled with the disgusting and poorly lit environments I think this game probably sets to be more horrifying than the previous soul games.
