There's a search page which you can access by adding /search in the address bar, or by doing an empty search (click the search field and hit Enter). Take note that there are still a few bugs with the feature; if you do a search and go back, the old terms are still selected, but won't show up in the field unless you start entering a new tag. Furthermore, it's not possible to search for Tag A OR Tag B right now, and the results will only show content that includes all tags specified. As long as you keep that in mind though, this page allows you to narrow down your search to a specific artist, and include/exclude tags.

I don't know exactly why (I handle in-house operations, not direct communication with our partners), but I know that so far we tend to get two months worth of data at a time. When we're sent the files, they're prepared for print, which from what I'm told is why they're sent on a bi-monthly basis.

As I've touched upon in the past, this has no effect on the amount of content that gets released on the site. It just means there are ebbs and flows of material internally. For instance, we're pretty much not getting any new data in March other than a 14 chapter long issue of BEAST, which means we'll likely work through most of what we currently have on our plate. However, we're getting several new magazines just as we enter April, giving us plenty to work on during the month and the next period of lull in May.

The request forum was retired because it was mainly used to find pirated content. You might have the best intentions, but that doesn't change the fact that there are very few legitimate sources for ero manga in the West, which means that most requests will eventually lead the user to piracy sites. We can't allow piracy to be discussed on our forums (directly or indirectly) out of respect for our publishing partners, and no request threads is a result of that.

I think that's a good idea. I've added links for Kairakuten, BEAST, Shitsurakuten, X-Eros, Bavel, Dascomi, and Aoha.

Thanks for bringing these to my attention. I don't have a whole lot to comment on each of these, so I'll keep it brief:


Those chapters predate our partnership, and were never meant to be published. We were sent the data for the first few by mistake, and while those were allowed to stay up on the site, we didn't do the rest of them. I think we addressed this at the time.


I'll have someone look into these.


Removed due to complications between the artist and the Japanese publisher. Ultimately the artist has the final say in these things.


These were probably not uploaded as they were thought to have been ads (which they are). I'll see if we have the data for them.

I think you'll have to agree that a lot can change over the course of almost two years. We acquired the Koh license in early 2018, the magazine was then discontinued later that year, and finally relaunched as Aoha in early 2019. Aoha is a direct continuation of Koh in all but name, so it made more sense (in part due to the reasons listed above) to pick that up right from volume 1 rather than sticking with older Koh issues. This allows us to keep Aoha up to date and still pick up older Koh volumes when possible, compared to exclusively working on Koh and falling behind on Aoha.

I can understand someone preferring one magazine over the other, but that argument can be made either way. Given how similar the content is in the two magazines, I think it's more beneficial overall to focus our efforts on the brand new content.

Our contracts with most of our publishing partners only cover new magazines as of a certain starting date. This is because artists might leave a publisher or the industry as a whole, making it very hard to track them all down to make sure everyone gets compensated if we were to license older magazines. We've literally had people trekking through mountains in Japan to make it possible to bring over certain older titles to the West, and that's for a single artist.

Furthermore, we simply don't have the resources to go back and publish decades of older magazines while also keeping up with thousands of pages of new content each month. As such, it's always been our plan to focus our attention on new releases and expanding into other magazines when possible, rather than releasing older magazine content. That said, we do release older books from time, as those projects are a lot simpler to manage in this aspect.

I suggest reading the subscription FAQ to find out how far back each magazine goes, but feel free to ask if you have any further questions.
