Have you been naughty or nice? Either way, it's time for an early present in the form of 15 new tags!

Due to the issues related to the store that cropped up in September, adding new tags had to be put on the backburner for a while. Now that we have that under control, we want to make up for the lack of new tags with a bigger batch than usual. This time we're adding a few positions, a large number of archetypes, and a handful of locations based on the ever-popular setting of pools, hot tubs, and beaches—except here there's no pesky ToS to worry about.

Note that with the upcoming holidays (our last working day is December 23rd) these new tags might not get approved until after the new year. That said, the more votes a tag gets, the higher up the list of approval it goes, so go crazy tagging and we can all come back to some well-populated categories in 2022!

Well, I can't point to a single post and say this is the sole reason we picked this book. There are numerous factors dictating our decisions, such as how many users read and comment on an artist's chapters, how popular their previous works are at conventions, recommendations from the publishers, and so on. User suggestions here and through other channels is just one factor, but like I said, the majority of our pickups are titles that were requested by readers.


Glad to hear it! We have a very solid lineup for Q1 2022, with a few surprises that I'm confident will be welcomed ones.

I'd go as far as to say that the majority of the titles we release have at some point been suggested here. However the invert of this is obviously not realistic. Some users' wish lists have enough content to fill half a year of our release schedule, while others suggest titles from publishers we don't currently work with. As such, the number of titles highlighted here will always greatly outnumber what we can physically output, but that doesn't mean nothing gets picked up.

I went back a few pages and saw several titles we've either already released, or we're ready to announce in early 2022. You can look at the very first reply in this thread where Yamatogawa was brought up, which at the time was out of our reach, but we were able to secure all their books four years later. I've mentioned this anecdote in the past, but it bears repeating that we've literally had people trek through mountains in Japan to get us a license, because we knew our readers wanted an official release of that particular book.

We'll never be able to grant every wish in this ~2400 post long thread, but I can assure you that we do the best we can.

FAKKU Unlimited never had downloads due to it being a subscription service, but all the purchasable content still offers downloads. Nothing was removed.

These things are almost always store-exclusive preorder bonuses commissioned by the retailers, so it's not possible for us to license them.

Yeah, we match the original Japanese release. Books are obviously finalized well ahead of their street date, so even if a sequel chapter is out by then, it might be too late to include it in the book release. Alternatively it might throw off the page count, or any other reason I can only speculate about.

Is this DLC or a separate game? Either way, as is always the case for third-party content, it's up to the original publisher if and when new products are released on here. We're only serving as a distribution platform for other entities, just like Steam.

Update: I'm told that this product is not coming to our store in the foreseeable future, and that this is unfortunately out of our hands.

As far as I know, we don't dictate what goes up on our site, so a schedule like that would be up to those publishers.


Our distribution partners may run sales on their own, but our sale is only for content purchased on the FAKKU site.

Don't worry, this is a fairly common point of confusion. FAKKU is both a publisher and a platform—think of it as Valve vs Steam—and while the majority of commercial manga (books and magazines) is produced by us, much of the doujinshi content on here comes from many different publishing partners who use the site for distribution. You can see a full list of publishers in the sidebar under tags, and the ones listed above are only the titles released directly by us.

And just to be clear, books and subscription content will continue to be released as normal in January. It's only the doujinshi published by FAKKU that goes on a short hiatus, and we'll almost certainly have many third-party releases during that period. To be honest, the average user probably won't even notice much of a difference, but we like to do do these posts for added transparency and to inform the avid fans of our doujin series.

Hello everyone. Now that the store is back up and running for digital content (more info on this can be found here), we can start putting out new releases again, and kicked it off with Assisted Mating 10 in late October. The following is a quick summary of what to expect from us for the remainder of 2021.

Like every year, we want to focus our resources on magazines for the last couple weeks to ensure we can still provide a steady flow of content while our staff enjoys their extended end-of-year holiday. Much like last year, this means we plan on taking January off for doujinshi, and resume with new releases come February 2022. We still have four more titles scheduled for this year, and I want to give a sneak peek of those below.

First up is Playing Lovers Weekly Comics, which serves as sort of a supplement to the previous two volumes. This is actually a compilation of web comics that, as the title implies, were posted on a semi-weekly basis by the artist over a two-year period between 2016 and 2018. These were all done as two-page spreads, and in total this adds up to 64 sets, a few of which are variations of the same illustration. Please note that due to the format in which these were originally produced, no high quality source files exist, so we're only going to offer these in 1920 horizontal resolution. While this is a highly unusual release for us, the artist was kind enough to provide us with what they had, so we wanted to make this available to the Western fans of the original series.

This first release comes out next weekend on November 13th, and the rest will come out every other week from there on until Christmas, December 25th. The rest are more standard releases, so please look forward to them as they hit the site in the next two months. For now, I'll simply leave you with a teaser of the rest of the upcoming release lineup: rounding off the month of November is I Love Money by MEME50, followed by Sibling Play in the Komi Household by Guhan Shounen & Testter in early December, and finally The Magical Foxgirl Foxy Rena 12 by Amakuchi.

I believe this year was overall an improvement compared to the last, but 2021 still had its challenges for us and the world as a whole. Here's hoping these doujinshi—combined with the books and subscription content—can provide you all with some warmth and light during the dreary winder months.



I can also confirm that we plan on having a Black Friday Sale this year, barring any unforeseen issues with the store. In short, if we can have a sale, we will.

Update: We had to swap the order for the Guhan Shounen & Testter and Amakuchi doujinshi as the former was missing some files. Unfortunately, we didn't receive them in time to finish the doujin for the holiday, so this will be moved to our first release slot in February 2022. Sorry about that.

As far as I know, we haven't change anything in our dealings with Amazon, so it's likely just the way they list pre-order items.


Short answer, no. The free copies are not "free" for us, as we still pay royalties etc. for these items. The reason we're willing to take this financial hit is because we can avoid additional service fees when not using a third-party retailer, which somewhat balances it out in the end. Naturally it also serves as a reward for users who support us directly. As such, it's unlikely we'll ever offer free digital copies for physical goods sold outside of our own storefront.

New tags will be added once it's possible to suggest tags for content again.

Magazine content is only purchasable when compiled and released as a book. To the best of my knowledge, this author has yet to release a book even in Japan, so these chapters were never available outside of a FAKKU Unlimited subscription.
