The first spell is mamizou's "green animals aimed at your level" spell. In regular extra the fast moving circles are the only ones there. In ultra+extra the slow and fast ones are there. The method to doing the spell isn't any different between settings. Its gotten much less forgiving and much more dense. Not a problem to handle with some practice.

The second is Halo of the Guze Cannon. Note the extra bullets. Rather, ultra mode makes the rings 2 bullets thick instead of one. You will notice I end up in the pattern of jumping left every so often. In regular easy through lunatic modes the hole is always there but in ultra its filled by a pink bullet. That much of a change makes you have to look for a new method to do this spell. With practice its do able and ultra+normal and up modes just speed up the pattern.

Then theres Futo's "Oo-Delicious dinner". I'm not certain if theres a glitch with those secondary rings or I'm doing it wrong. It took some effort to figure out how to get that far. The ring jumping (Suwako style) was on purpose and the only way I could see into getting it. On normal+ultra and above those rings are still there. Interestingly enough, on overdrive they fade into gold bullets like the primary rings and it becomes do able.

Now then, aside from stuff in the video, in general easy mode becomes normal mode in TD with the ultra patch. The lower stage bosses show this more so than Futo and Miko. That said, Yuyuko's Ghost Spot on lunatic+ultra feels straight out of PCB-normal- and can be worse to some extent.

Miko on normal is just evil. All the spells except the Armillary card have noticeable changes. Two of serious note: Taoist land of rising sun turns into a legit sparta run. The other is Discernment, which stays just as dense as regular normal but now features slow and fast amulets.
