Some of the scenes could definitely use a replay, and hell YES that punch was awesome. ^_^
One more thing, did you realize that Beatrice's entire existence did not make sense? Especially the part where she was a:
And then there's Maria and her mother's relationship:
Higurashi was probably more well done than Umineko in my opinion, except for its final episode which was cheesy as hell. That Asakura scene was EMBARASSING, I tell you, EMBRASSING; I thought I was reading a scene from power rangers or something lol.
Impressive read overall though.

Harry the Potato!
Okay, finally finished Umineko! My review is probably going to be short though; couldn't think of much to say.
First, as you progress slowly from Episode 1 to 8, you'll start to get less and less interested in the mysteries, because they are totally not the main point. Even though the author has set it up to look like one. In that sense, everyone got pranked REAL hard, and screw that second last puzzle in Episode 8, I just searched for the answer and couldn't be bothered to solve it.
Next, the Trick ending was unfortunately pretty badly done. Very horribly done. They should've made a proper scene after that choice so it could properly lead-up-to-that-kind-of-Ange, but they didn't. It read like an elephant with a tiger's head so I was kind of disappointed. Also, the choice probably should not have been set there but much earlier, because everything up to that point was built up for the Magic ending. Which means the VN probably could've been executed better.
Straight to Witch Bern. Holy shit the girl's a total sadist. I'm not sure how many times I've thought to myself, "WHERE IS MY M-"... Oh wait that was close, almost spoiled that stuff. Her true identity must be kept a secret! xD But seriously, the Witch of Miracles is a total fraud; the Witch of Coincidence is probably a better title. The reason is quite simple: In Higurashi and Umineko at least, a miracle is by definition an occurance that happened even though there is absolutely no chance for it to happen. You can only call it a miracle because that 'thing' was not suppose to exist. Therefore only when an event that has 0 probability of happening, happened, then you can call it a miracle. What Bern did - searching for that 1 Fragment over an infinity amount of fragments - is in the end searching for that single probability of possibility. That ain't no miracle.
Also, anyone who has read Higurashi should know this very well. You don't obtain a miracle by praying that everything just happen to go the way you want, which means that Bern's action of finding that one Fragment where everything somehow lines up perfectly was absolutely flawed from the start. To get a miracle you must DO your best to achieve your dreams, and if you can't do it alone don't forget about those who care about you and willing to lend a hand. You throw everything you have into that single Fragment, and even if it ultimately results in failure there would be no regrets.
This probably means that Bern herself is an alternate possibility of 'that girl', where she continued to wait and search for that 'coincidence' and 'luck' where everything goes in her way for god knows how long, and by some chance she finally did find that fragment, but her mind was utterly broken and twisted by that point. I know there's another explanation (or was it a deduction?) at the wiki, but to me this sounds more reasonable than the, what, crystalization of the worst traits of 'that girl'? Her true personality? Totally different things in my opinion.
And the true end, the ??? part. Kinda didn't make sense at the back there if you get what I mean, but, huh. Happy I guess?
I'm looking forward for the CGs and character sprites for Umineko 5-8. Must be pretty cool looking! xD
Guess this did turn out long after all. I'm such a long-winded typer. >_>

I actually haven't finished it yet because of a test and a rushed proposal lol, once I finish today's test then I'll go back to reading.
Lilith games are pretty crazy.
Ah, question, is there a guide for episode 8? Cuz I'm a little bit busy here and wouldn't want to waste too much time challenging mysteries...

LOL, all of Bible Black's descendants are hard core as fuck. Never thought you'll actually need a strong heart to read eroge. xD
EDIT: I just noticed the almighty Auaurora. Quite the cute name.

LOL well, that is true, but don't forget that that with love you see something that cannot exist. <3
... I find your unintentional prediction frightening now >_> I finished ??? of Ep 5 just not long ago lol.
Just to confirm, it seems that there are 2 endings to Umineko? Is there no 1 true ending?

Congratz! It has always been a pleasure to see you around, hopefully we will all get along better! xD
Lol. Well, again I've made an assumption on who's the culprit after reading Episode 1, let's see whether I'll get it right on the first guess again. xD
Although from the looks of this case there is most certainly more than 1 culprit, and then there's the possibility of a 'chain' murder etc etc so... >_>
EDIT: Uwah, I take back all that I've said. The supernatural element in this story is so prevalent - at the very least, you cannot deny the fact that:
EDIT 2: I wonder why the change in the witch Bern. Supposedly that she is an 'evil' witch at the end of Episode 4, but she is still truly:
Well, then again, if there is a one in a quadrillion chance of something that couldn't exist to exist, you can't really call that a miracle. A miracle is called a miracle because the probability of that something is ZERO, but it still happened anyway. As long as there's a will, there's a way.
Witch Bern definitely interests me to the point I don't mind reading Chiru as it is.

Playing Umineko. Just to make sure one more time: This VN is truly, completely, utterly completed in 8 episodes is it?

I just got to a certain part in the game and i really really feel like puching takeru for some reason...Spoiler:
Actually, that was one of the rare parts I truly sympathize with Takeru, and especially the events after that. To be honest I think I would've gone mad if I had to go through what he experienced when he -
