Edit: Too bad for Sony, eh? The only reason I was going to get a PS3 was because of Final Fantasy 13. That's $400+ they just lost from me. Beautiful! Now I can put that money toward something else... like a couch.

i used to be a sony fanboy,but the way they're dealing with their customer is lower than animal shit.they don't deserve our loyalty anymore.and to hell with bluray.it's too fucking expensive,with no difference in quality compared to dvd.

I'd still prefer Sony over Microsoft.

Seriously. The only games I would want a PS3 for are MGS4 and FF13 but they're both coming to Xbox, so fuck that.

Umm, not exclusive. There will be different versions of FFXIII, for 360 and PS3.

Don't forget, there are total of four FFXIII games. Only one of which is for 360.

Damn, looks nice and the gameplay fighting style looks totally amped up from its previous FF predecessors. Kinda got a Star Wars feel doesn't it?

All the more reason to enjoy Xbox 360... because it f'in rocks.

correction, 5. 2 next gens, 1 portable platform, 1 portable cell and a mystery one they havent revealed yet. i agree with bluesummers, not only is this not exlusive for 360 but if they want to reveal support for the other ffxiiis, there going to do it at e3. this just means that 360 gets one game that the ps3 was getting all along, just like the ps3 is getting bioshock. now the only thing im missing out on halo! le tear... ill live. crap, mass effect... lol i dont mean to say that 360 pales in comparison to it, but i certainly prefer the ps3. ive been a suporter of sony and their development since ps1 and i aint about to jump off the bandwagon for this news, but its great that 360 gets to share in the experience of the best franchise in gaming history!

It's called the "create a game for the 360 so it sells well outside of Japan and port it to the PS3 because the 360 sucks so hard in Japan" strategy. I heard that this may be a new trend with Japanese-made games.

Man.. these FF games keep getting fruitier and fruitier. I liked 12 because it redid a lot of the music from the older games and had a really good feel to it, but I can't believe the fruityness of 9 and 10, they look like kids games!

While i was sad about FFXIII going to xbox360, Versus looks more like the better version (On the trailers point of view) And it seems like Versus will be rated M, again according to the trailer, breaking necks, stabing a guy while falling with blood on the camera? Sup first Rated M FF? I'm interrested in that :D

C'mon, thats the best fucking line i've ever seen to end a game, which made the ending like 1000x better. & It makes Kratos the biggest badass dude ever. Oh yeah and the finishing moves off bosses / Monster's are still fucking kick ass.

In Japan, no changes. This annoucement has no change in Japan. Lets be honest Ps3 = Jap console , 360 = American consoles. And the Jap's gets 3x more JRPG's than we do. Many of the games never get translated.

As of right now, it seems that Versus is remaining a PS3 exclusive. Also, this article is an interesting read.
