A Certain Scientific Railgun ... the anime !?

I dunno whether to lol, cry or rejoice about this but it seems that the manga spinoff of Index is getting it's own Misaka-centric anime.

A flyer has announced that an anime adaptation of To Aru Kagaku no Railgun (A Certain Scientific Railgun), Motoi Fuyukawa's manga spinoff of Kazuma Kamachi's To Aru Majutsu no Index (A Certain Magic Index) light novels, has been green-lit.

Biri-biri being the absolutely best thing that happened to the series makes me glad about this but on the other hand if they intend to waste it like the currently running Index anime (fucking parade of talking heads), maybe it's better they reconsidered ...
Besides it totally seems they're 'milking the cow' here. First they clone her and create variations and now this.


Since it doesn't exist yet nor do we have certainty that/when it will, I decided to put this in general.

funny coincidence... I just finished the second to the last Index (ep23) a few minutes ago... And dozed off while at it. :lol:


Tbh, I'm not looking forward to any shounen genre that J.C. Staff would produce. Seriously, after what happened to Index, Meh, I could care less about this. They really should have just sticked with what they do best - adapting romance titles. (I miss Nodame!)

For the love of god, I pray that there are no shitty shounen speeches or someone will go beyond being "deserving of death" and instead go into the "deserving to suffer in the bowels of hell for all eternity" part.

According to Canned Dogs ( http://zepy.momotato.com/2009/03/18/railgun-anime-announced-on-at-x/ ), the Railgun anime has officially been announced during the airing of the final episode of Index.

Perhaps I should keep a lookout for the above title, with all the fuss going around. :D

Well, it would be difficult to air it before, since the final episode of Index just aired a few days ago. :P

Month of airing has already been confirmed.
