Bakemonogatari

Seems like this was one of another unproductive Sunday for me... nothing interesting ever happened in my life today; the hell it was awful. Well, I've already ranted quite a number of times this past couple of days, I might as well do my "thing"... so without further ado, here's a bit of an early summer anime intro. (actually, it's been pretty much "summer" since March where I'm at... damn it's annoyingly hot!)
This trailer probably doesn't come as "new" to most of you guys who are well versed (like me) in gathering info but this remains as the only preview that this upcoming anime adaptation has to offer.
First and foremost, this is from a light novel created by Nisio Isin which centers around a third year high school student named Koyomi Araragi, who has recently survived a vampire attack, and finds himself mixed up with all kinds of apparitions; gods, ghosts, myths, and spirits.
Here's an early plot overview:
In each chapter of the series, he encounters a different heroine, each involved with a different "apparition". The events of the previous chapters play an important role in the subsequent ones. The series primarily focuses on conversations between characters; it contains a fair number of parodies of other series, as well as Nisio Isin's trademark wordplay and metahumor.
The anime is scheduled to broadcast sometime in July (awesome month) under the production of Shaft studio and the direction of Akiyuki Shinbo; whose previous works includes Negima, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, Maria Holic, and the currently ongoing Natsu no Arashi!.
On a side note:
With that, this has got to be one of the titles that's most anticipate in the coming summer season (July). Going back on last year's summer batch... there was only a handful of titles that I did watch. Hopefully, this year's gonna be better... even though I'll be turning another year older.
BE SURE TO MARK JULY 03 ON YOUR CALENDARS BECAUSE THAT'S WHEN THE SERIES STARTS!
AND SO IS MY FUCKIN BIRTHDAY BTW !!! :D

Bakemonogatari centers on Koyomi Araragi, a third year high school student who is almost human again after briefly becoming a vampire. One day, a classmate named Hitagi SenjÅgahara, who infamously never talks to anyone, falls down the stairs into Koyomi's arms. He discovers that Hitagi weighs next to nothing, in defiance of physics. After being threatened by her, Koyomi offers her help, and introduces her to Meme Oshino, a middle-aged homeless man who helped him stop being a vampire. In each chapter of the series, he encounters a different heroine, each involved with a different "apparition". The light novel series ranked sixth in the 2009 issue of Takarajimasha's light novel guide book Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi!; Koyomi Araragi ranked sixth in the Best Male Character while Hitagi SenjÅgahara ranked seventh in the Best Female Character. With that, this has got to be one of the titles that's most anticipate in the coming summer season (July). I concur with both previous statements of anticipation. I'll be officially old by this series' 7th episode at the latest though. :(
Damn you Hermit, reminding me of my birthday.
That aside, Maria+Holic was probably my favorite series of the past year, seeing as this comes from the same studio and director, I hope it manages to live up to the hype.

I've added the 2nd trailer(PV) and the link to its official website atop.
Here's some character artworks as well:

And for the hell of it, here's the main cast of seiyuus with the characters that they respectively portray:
[size=11]Hiroshi Kamiya as Koyomi Araraki
Chiwa Saito as Hitagi Senjougahara
Emiri Katou as Mayoi Hachikuji
Kana Hanazawa as Nadeshiko Sengoku
Miyuki Sawashiro as Shunga Kamihara
Takahiro Sakurai as Meme Nin'ya
Yui Horie as Tsubasa Hanegawa [/h]
I'm kinda glad that Hiroshi Kamiya is the male lead's seiyuu. I'm already falling in DESPAIR!

I recognize four seiyus, Takahiro Sakurai, Yui Horie, Miyuki Sawashiro, and Chiwa Saito. With those four, this anime should be excellent in the voicing compartment.

^The reason why I'll be watching this anime. I enjoyed his directing and pretty curious how he will do it in this one.

Yeah, happy birthday. I was hoping to post that message along with a subbed torrent of Bakemonogatari but there are just RAWs so far.

Eventually the sub will show up there.

I appreciate the greetings, thank you Temcor, Teclo.
Anyway, it kinda sucks that there's still no subs out for this yet. Well, it's not like the first episode was a mediocrity for no one to bother with it. The problem though may lie in the amount of dialogue to be tled, typeset, etc(considering all the talk which took place); making an earlier release quite unlikely.
Well, I must say that I was very impressed with the overall animation; the lighting, shadowing, angles, and everything else that made it utterly captivating. The opening sequence was awesome as it gives a few insights (on what to expect or what may have already took place) while the music sets the mood for suspense and horror (though we may have yet to see the actual/regular OP in the following eps). The ending meanwhile wouldn't even count as a sequence for nothing but a motionless illustration of Hitagi was seen all throughout a minute and a half of the song, which I have yet to know the title.
Btw, I looked over for sub groups who might be working on this series and found II-subs' "work in progress" ...

Yeah still haven't seen this one get subbed yet. I thought more than a few groups were going to sub it. If one pops up I'll be sure to post it here since I am always eager to see something by SHAFT.

Alright, now that I've seen it and actually understood all of what they were saying, it was still pretty decent for an introductory episode with nothing but chatter (I'm still in awe of its animation however). It could get boring halfway through but by just paying attention, I've truly had a lot of fun. Random references and gags were well scattered and may seem to be hidden within the more seriously related talks. Well (in turn), it was very insightful and I did manage to form a rough sketch on the things that I'll be expecting.
A weightless self proclaimed tsundere isn't too bad to be honest but I still like the "class president of all class presidents" the better, plus she reminds me of a special someone (in more ways than one).
The most striking part was the visualization of immortality through the use of cake, (salad?), and spaghetti. It was funny in a sense, thus I've always admired Shaft for being so crafty. The "one second stop - panty shot" was also a very slick way to start. :D

I think I'm going to love this one... It was kinda confusing at the start but it's actually pretty damn awesome! definitely love the artwork, a dash of 3d is added... plus the heroine (Hitagi), she reminds me of Yomi (Ga-Rei zero).
