Bakemonogatari

Not surprised, but I am very excited. Now when are we going to get a Zaregoto anime?

I feel lucky that I start watching this series just a week ago. I did not wait for such a long time like others do, despite that I regret the fact that i did not pay any attention whenever I saw the word Bakemonogatari, the names like Hitagi, Tsubasa, Nadeko. I Feels like I dig out somekind of a treasure. Every gatari is great.

I'm looking forward to its prequel novel.

Have all the parts of the light novel for Bakemonogatari been translated? I've wanted to read them for so long (and despite all that, I haven't really looked.) I've found Hitagi Crab fully translated, but nothing else.

There's like the first 3 or 4 chapters of Kizumonogatari translated but that's it. I also feel it's unlikely that the series will brought over from Japan, I'm sure though if the Kizumonogatari adaptation does well enough we'll see adaptation's of the other novels.

Also does anyone know whether Kizumonogatari is going to be an OVA or another TV series? Or have we not been given those details yet? I'm personally happy with either though.

No details on that have emerged yet. An OVA seems more likely as Bakemonogatari was two books long. To fill 12 episodes with one novel, it would have to nearly be a word-for-word adaptation.

Poor people like myself, can't play 720/1080p formats on a 7 year old computer. That Coalgirls torrent is like taunting me, since its the Complete version with no black/red cuts.

A win Anime! Didn't think dark comedy could be so good. Can't wait for that prequel.

Why have I put off watching this show for so long?! Even after seeing a crapload of YouTube fan videos of "Ren'ai Circulation" and seeing "Bakemonogatari" written all over forums and on IRC, I never bothered watching it.

So SHAFT+Shinbo style coupled with a interesting occult story. With lots of bending necks and head turns, and constant scene changes.

According to Wikipedia, we'll be getting a movie and another anime series.

I'd like to say that I started the series after watching "Do you take it in the ass?"
