Halo reach

before I heard about halo reach I wasn't really a fan of the halo series but after I saw some of the gameplay of reach and the trailer I was impressed by any one interrested in getting this game and please excuse my spelling

I love Halo, its the first online shooter ive ever played, and even at this moment im playing Halo 3, so this is a definite yes on my buy list, I cant wait for the Beta to come out on May 3rd =3

Definitely gonna get this game. After Halo 2, my opinion on the series started going downhill. ODST helped it regain some footing, but didn't quite cut it. Reach actually looks impressive to me. You can no longer understand what the aliens are saying, helping them regain some intimidation that the mouthy grunts all but destroyed after the 1st level in Halo:CE. Rethinking the weapons was a good idea, seeing as I would only use the battle rifle as soon as i found it. This should give me a reason to at least glance at other methods of xenocide. I'm hoping that from the way MP looks, that teamplay is gonna be encouraged. I'm sick of having to deal with teammates that keep going lone wolf and end up killing me with a rocket launcher while they were aiming at a tank. Then again, seeing as there's now jetpacks in the game, I'm gonna go ahead and bet that there's gonna be a brief period of n00bs abusing the packs and taking the fun out of the game before the novelty runs out.

I want to play this game. Hopefully it's a bit different than Halo 3...

I dont know why everybody likes ODST, I bought that game JUST for the Halo 3 multiplayer disc and the beta key, and ill probably never play it again when Reach comes out.

I liked ODST for it's pacing and the characters. I was able to connect with the ODSTs in the game way more than I could with the Master Chief. Also, the fact that the cast of Firefly voiced said ODSTs was a major selling point for me. And YES, I am in fact a Firefly fan/nerd.

Eh I haven't played anything past Halo 2 (including ODST).

My daily dose of Halo comes from Halo Custom Edition...which (aside from the graphics of course) has the ability to surpass most of the newer halo's in therms of gameplay imo.

Halo hate is so 2001.

People who hate Halo just hate on it because it is popular. They are no different from the other trolls out there that hate pretty good series. Halo is not the best game out there, but you can't deny it is pretty good game.
