Worst Harem Lead?

So I've been getting a lot of inquiries from my friends asking who the most pathetic male lead there is in harems in my opinion.

So who's the most pathetic one in your opinion? You can post anybody from any anime or manga or visual novel just as long as he has a harem.

Since I'm starting might as well say my side.

... Gah pretty much most of the idiots from generic harem shows. I just find it infuriating that multiple girls are attracted to mumbling idiots who for some reason are accidental perverts.

I'll say this once again, Amagami isn't considered HAREM

Definition of Harem
-Protagonist must be liked by many girls at the same time.
Amagami has 6 different Time lines, and in each time line the protag is only liked by ONE Female Lead.

-Competition between the 2 or more Harem Girls to get the affection from the Lead male
That never happened in Amagami, since it has 6 different time line for each girl.

Hrm... then Yuusuke Takasaki from Green Green... or Kazuki Shikimori from Maburaho fit

Doesn't exist, since Amagami is made purely for "Pure" romance with no "taboo" elements added. And honestly, it's Best to keep it that way.

Worst harem lead? It's gotta be Makoto Itou from School Days.

It's easy to hate this bastard on a face level and given that he engages in polyamourous relationships, he makes other harem leads look like small fry compared to his dickery. This guy is serious BS. It's like a version of a ladies' man hopped up on Viagra and the Tiger Woods syndrome. The consolation prize with him is that in the anime, he got a justifiable ending.

Honorable mention goes to Natsuru Senou of Kampfer. Quite the dull guy we have here. Maybe painfully unaware that three girls are seriously aiming for his heart, worst of it is he got the hots for a girl outside his harem. Plus side to him is he's hot in girl form, and he's a real friend in times of the girls' needs. The magnitude of his stupidity is heightened by the fact that Shizuku already kissed him, took him out on a date and let him touch her breasts willingly, but still he ain't got a clue.

I'll remember this specific episode forever.

Almost all the indecisive male lead from VN adaptations except Okazaki Tomoya and Azai Kyousuke.
I may like them and the shows themselves, but as HAREM leads? nah...

Edit: Actually, they don't have to be from VN adaptations. ALL the weak male harem leads. Period. But I do notice that many of the VN adaptations' leads are little lacking in initiative than their VN counterparts...

P.S. My friend says REAL man should act like Makoto, to which I replied, "REAL men don't get their heads chopped off," and "REAL man act like Rance, idiot."

For me, it's probably Kohei Hasekura from Fortune Arterial. I found absolutely nothing original or memorable about him.

The only man at Nagasarete Airantou... The girls want him and take initiatives that sometimes lead to ecchi moments especially at the baths. What does he do? just run away or nose bleeds till he pass out...

and probably those who nosebleeds then faints when one their harem took the lead by showing or doing something ecchi.

Keitaro Urashima is Alucard (Hellsing) compared to him.

Tomoki from Sora no Otoshimono fits this perfectly. Seriously, I question whether or not to watch the S2 of this because of him.

Also, Juniichi is just a normal guy.

He's no where near the worst. He'd be doing pretty well for himself if most every girl in his harem didn't completely outclass him in every possible attribute.



Tomoki isn't an accidental pervert though, he's an intentional one. So he doesn't actually fit it perfectly.
