Wow, you gave me neg rep on the premise of me stating the fact that your OP is lacking to be a proper OP.
You should do it like this:

Give proper information, post videoes, etc.
Not all of us know or care about console games, in as much as you probably don't care about PC games.

Wow, you gave me neg rep on the premise of me stating the fact that your OP is lacking to be a proper OP.I agree with this guy. This is a really poor thread. Maybe you could throw up a screenshot or two? Maybe tell us what the game is actually about? ...and add links to your OP instead of throwing them at the end of the thread?
Honestly. This thread is really kind of horrible. It's making me less interested in the game I don't even know anything about it. You can't just say "skullgirl is coming". You're not advertising for Gabbo...
Edit:
Don't downvote me! I'm not trying to be mean or snarky. I'm trying to help you! I gave you advice on what you should do. Add links and screenshots to your OP! It's quite easy to press the "edit" button and throw that in. That's all you have to do. Instead you basically give me the finger...?
You have an obligation: introduce the basics of the game to those who don't know about it. Your OP could be expanded with a few copy pastes from the links you threw up, a screenshot, and a video. It'd take less than five minutes. This forum is not Twitter; when you make a new discussion thread in anything but IB, it is your duty to make the OP worthy of discussion. Is that really so much to ask? Is it so harsh a criticism that you downvote me for telling you so? You're coming across as quite the fool, my friend. I hope you can put in the effort to improve.

Thought id make a new thread since the other thread was well....bad.

but here is the synopsis.
Set in Canopy Kingdom, characters are fighting for the opportunity to control the mysterious Skull Heart, an artifact with the ability to grant wishes, albeit at a substantial cost. The Skullgirl is a monster that haunts humanity: the result of those with an impure soul attempting to use the Heart.
Trailer.
My thoughts....
love the art...im not really a fighting game fan but i probably will be checking this one out based on the art style alone, and how could you not love peacock?

Same here! I usually stick to adventure games and shooters, but decided to get Skullgirls on XBLA when it comes out. I like its art style and story mode concept.
Here's the trailer for the story mode:

Ahh, thank you so much for starting a new thread... :)
Anyway. This game does look really interesting. The art style does look really unique and nice (not a touch on BlazBlue, but certainly in a class of its own), and the combat looks sufficiently wacky enough to make use of the art style. I'm so glad that full 2D games have realized that they don't need to use pixel art lately - as much as I love pixel art, I mean, but games like this, Rayman Origins, BlazBlue, have used their 2D engines to look like full-on TV cartoons, instead of like videogames. It makes me all happy and tingly inside. ^_^

Another good fighter from the PSN network that I think I will enjoy, once I get the platinum for Arcana Heart 3 and retire from that game, this will be my next major fighter. The 2D animation and stylish comic/retro noir art style makes this very appealing, very different to the current standards of fighting game character appearances. Any news on a release date?

I've been looking forward to this game for quite a while now, I remember when it was just drawings only.

Mod Note: I received a report concerning this topic.
After looking through the posts, I have to agree that the opening post does not provide much opportunity for users to discuss the topic on hand. Thus, I do hope the thread starter could edit his/her opening post to include further information about "Skullgirl".
On the other hand, the thread starter has not done anything wrong, but posting extremely short replies in quick succession may be considered spam.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Holy crap, I'm not sure if anyone whose been following this game's developments recently, but I found out earlier today this game is going to have CUSTOM SOUNDTRACKS! Aside from hearing the music composed by Konami's own Michiru Yamane who worked on the previous Castlevania classics such as Symphony of the Night as an example, I got all the more reason to enjoy fighting it out in this game with my custom playlist, this game is going to be a blast for me for sure.
