[Anime] Haiyore! Nyaruko san

Even though the title "Haiyore! Nyaruko san" has already been protrayed in flash-based, anime shorts previously, it will be getting an official anime adaptation this time round.

Taking some inspiration from the Cthulhu mythos, Nyaruko is actually a deity who takes the form of a silver-haired female, who coincidentally saves the life of the male protagonist, Yasaka Mahiro. Enrolling in the same high school, what adventures, as well as encounters with other deities, await both Nyaruko and Mahiro?

Hardcore fans of the Cthulhu mythos may find it difficult to accept how different the personalities of the various deities have changes, but I will be expecting lots of laughter and perhaps some ecchi fanservice from "Haiyore! Nyaruko san".

I don't think there has been any promotional videos on it yet, a safe bet is to keep an eye on ANN (Anime News Network) as they usually post the Promos for upcoming anime pretty frequently, and depending on popularity, they usually translate the promos as well. which is a nice added bonus.

If there was an intention for me to watch it, it was for Kana Asunmi, aka "BAKA NII NII!"

Animation-wise, pretty average.

Never really did have too high of an opinion towards most of series adaptations from novels. Nyaruko-san's plot doesn't deviate much from the " Super girl appears and is somehow conveniently in love with you" plot. The lovecraft inspiration could be worthy of a couple of points, haven't touched the game before despite hearing how addictive it is.

I pretty much gotten pass the stage to be affected by characters like Naruko. One personal view on my part - i sorely dislike the main character. Useless male who relies on the female yet pretty much treats her like dirt. zzz.

Comedy-wise...yep. I laughed. Kana Asumi has that talent.

However, i appreciate the gundam references whenever she gets fork'd

It was... a lot better then I expected. I thought that Nyrauko was going to be a tsundere, but instead she was a crazy, otaku, love obsessed werido, and I was pleasantly surprised. This show's definitely got my attention now.

I like it, pretty funny with the references. Nyaruko is funny but Mahiro's archetypes pissed me off.

Decided to watch this because the female lead looked good in the poster. So, worth it. Nyaruko looks really good when killing those creatures. Pokemon reference was pretty funny.



The art is similar to Denpa and the mention of aliens helps too. If she can sprout tentacles without wiping my sanity she can do whatever she wants.

Cthulu Mythos and moe? I'm in.

I never expected to see such a cute portrayal of Nyarlathotep the Crawling Chaos. Too bad we don't get moe versions of Azathoth and Yog-Sothoth, or any other Elder/Outer Gods for that matter.

This was zanier than I expected, but I see that as a good thing. It'll make for a good companion piece to KoreZom.

the first episode was very very funny, I had a good laugh watching it. I definitely look forward to more lulz

First episode was definitely win. It was very enjoyable.

Have high hopes for this

As expected, many lulz to be had here.
Expecting a full season of wtf, and many crying Lovecraft fans.

I like her very much... She like a bomb full of Kamen Rider and Gundams series... which I definitely enjoyed the whole time.

Goddamn Nyaruko is so cute. Though I will never understand what would compel Mahiro to say "get out" when a smoking hot, ridiculously moe anime babe comes barging into your bath naked pretty much saying "do me". Fucking anime logic sometimes. But yeah, great first episode otherwise. I'm definitely gonna keep watching.
