I'll take your word for it, hopefully it is.
So far... I haven't regretted my decision to hold off on playing the game first. I've liked every single episode.

Just watched episode 8 a few hours ago - it was sweet, but like a good bar of chocolate, always make you want for more, and Kaoru's arc was just that, the ending was OK but I did want more out of it. The kissing scenes were also good, especially at the tower.

Haha, I'm sorry I got the character's wrong. For some reason my head went to Miyu/Mew. Even tho the series don't have a incest route, I'll probably see her more often in next arc.

this anime is lacking in the older women department. I know Morishima is an upperclassman but she acts like a kid.

Kaoru arc was good, but i'm not really looking forward to the Sae arc.

Well, this is surprising news:

"Voice actress Mai Kadowaki (far left in photograph) reported in a Sunday blog entry that production on an anime has been green-lit for the Amagami game's supporting character Risa Kamizaki."

Does anyone know anything about Risa, and why she would be getting her own series, and a 13 episode one at that? This does, however, give me hope for a Miya series as well.

Risa is a secret character that you can get after completing some requirements...

since I never knew the requirements, I have never gotten her END.

and of course she's in it, Risa is in the OP sequence with other sub heroines.

Well, episode 9 begins Sae's arc, and the first episode of it was quite enjoyable. I wasn't sure what to make of her character, since most conversations about Amagami online don't involve her for whatever reason, but I hope now more people talk about Sae, because she seems like a really sweet girl. I love her sweet personality, and she has a nice chest as well!

Anyways, back to the episode review. I thought that it was adorable when Sae was trying to return Junichi's coin purse, (which was oh so cute and I want one). Figures Haruka had to run into him and get him all flustered again. It was also nice of Junichi to take Sae out for coffee, and I was glad to see Kaoru once again. It was funny to see that both Haruka and Kaoru helped Junichi get closer to Sae.

The training camp for Sae to become a waitress was very funny, and I loved it when Junichi got the coffee split on em, and then he took of his pants right in front of Sae, and, of course Miya found out. The rock-paper-scissors/piggyback ride was also very cute, and I giggled when Sae had to say glamorous body loud, (she has one after all). I also giggled when Junichi said he wouldn't lose next time, but he so definitely wanted to.

Anyways, next week looks to be even more training for Sae, and of the swimsuit/sexy variety. I can't wait. :)


And her ending was absolutely adorable!

Hehe, I'm glad that someone else agrees with me on Sae's adorableness, because I've heard some nasty comments about her, and I haven't a clue why.

Something about her being unable to say no to people or something. Everyone has their flaws, and if that's hers, and if she is trying to stand up for herself and not be such a push-over, then more power to her.


And the round two idea sounds like a lot of fun. Sae versus Miya. Yum. :)

And I wondered about the narrator, but I didn't mind him much. Guess I got used to it from Ookami-san.

Also, I wonder if this will be animated...

then don't watch and skip these arc, and hoping that this arc is a horrible arc.

On the contrary, Sae's Arc like I said is going to be one of the sweetest Arc ever.

Man Amagami SS I think you need to give Ookami a lesson on how to have a good narrator, and not one that makes me want to punch a hole in my laptops screen.

Good stuff so far, loving the new girl since she reminds me of Mikuru from Haruhi, but she's dropping her dress in the next episode? JUINICHI I'LL LET YOU HAVE ALL THESE GIRLS IF YOU GIVE ME MIYA DAMN IT!!

Hehe, and I believe I saw a glimpse of Sae in a swimsuit as well. And yeah, I definitely thought of Mikuru as well when I saw her in this episode.

Man, could definitely do without the narrator.

It's hard to tell what level of conflict this arc is going to bring. The first two have been pretty mild.

Though I know the last girl, can't remember my name, I remember she is pretty crazy!

Argh! I'm very torn about this episode. <_<

First of, the narrator; What's up with that? It totally ruined the moods for me, but at the same time made it a bit more humorous.

Indeed, first that even if she's timid she can't speak properly, and just the voice... Not as bad as Green Green's Midori, but almost.

But even so the episode itself was really good, and the arc seems like it's gonna be pretty awesome, so it seem I'll have to try and endure somehow.

don't mind the narrator so much, like been mentioned before, it adds a bit of humour to the show

From ep 8's preview I thought that Sae would piss me off, but she's pretty adorable... her bust size contributed to this for me.
I don't mind the narrator's voice after watching Ookami-san, but it just bothered me because of the discrepancy that there was no narrator before Sae's arc.

The Narrator is odd, considering how sudden and unexpected it is. I guess they were looking for a different feel for Sae's arc and thus added him in. He's pretty redundant though; I'd trade him for Hayate no Gotoku's narrator any day.

Sae's cute. Her voice is just a little too... something-y. Not sure how to describe it. Whistley? Sibilant? Sibilant is probably best.

Overall, the arc looks like it'll be pretty good. I might actually like Junichi in it for once, as opposed to the first two arcs where he was just bland and annoying.
