And it's over. Nothing to say on the episode itself except that Oreki should never compare himself to Satoshi, ever. And that Oreki should really propose to Chitanda while not under the influence of drugs.

To sum things up:
Irisu: Manipulative Bitch
Mayaka: Sad and Angry Bitch
Satoshi (Past): Openly Jealous Bastard
Satoshi (Present): Secretly Jealous Bastard
Chitanda: Clueless and Curious
Oreki: Lazy and High

It was an alright series with beautiful animation and terribly-presented characters.

why didn't you say your mild proposal? it would've worked perfectly for a last ep (although i liked his delivery of this proposal that's why I repeated it till I'm satisfied)

too bad he felt the same way as Satoshit that he might not be the best person for Chitanda thats why he probably backed out...

I really enjoyed this show overall but damn I wanted to see them kiss. We need a season 2 or another OVA. I won't be satisfied until I see Houtarou and Chitanda kiss/confess their love to each other.

That aside, this was an awesome show in my opinion. I'm gonna miss not having my weekly episode of Hyouka every Sunday.

I think this was one of the best show in a while, but this "ending" kinda made me mad. There better be another OVA or 2, because I don't feel a season 2 coming.

Just watched 21 and 22.

Episode 22
Spoiler:
Well they really went all out visually in this episode, it looked beautiful. This series was amazing. I'm not satisfied with the ending though, they needed to kiss. If they don't do a second season or any OVAs I guess it'll be one of those series that ends leaving your imagination to decide what happens next, like the Studio Ghibli films.

It ended really well, but also really sad when Oreki realized what Satoshi meant when saying he felt like he wasn't good enough for Ibara's love. It ended with him realizing he cares for Chitanda on a romantic level to the point of him wanting to be side by side with her running her families company. However, due to feeling inferior to her and her families name he kept his feelings to himself. We all know Chitanda cares about him just as much ;~; makes me wish there was moooaar! T__T

Yes too bad, he knew the big difference between their status and how big Eru's family responsibilities. He must have wondered if is it really okay for him to be with her. I agree too that she likes him too since she was willing to show her everything(past present and future) to him.

Well to them there is still time and no need to rush them. Oreki just realized he love her so give them time lol. If there would be an OVA i hope the show Houtaro and Eru at the same college.

I can't believe that was the ending. Oreki's illusion looked great, just like in episode 1, but it should have been a reality.

I wonder which will happen first. The translation of the LN's reaching volume 5 (anime ended at volume 4) or a second season. I'm guessing the translation since the volumes aren't released very often.

For people wondering. The January OVA will not have a continuation from where the anime ended.

But seriously, the series was awesome. It's not that ep 22 is bad, we all just wanted more. Kudos to KyoAni, will be waiting for a season 2/OVA.
