[Anime] PSYCHO-PASS

This episode gave me the good chills. I really like the way Kogami fought against that droid. A little bit curious now about Mr. Ginoza's past. I can't wait for the next episode.

Okay...what the hell? Where did this goofy ass Comunet stuff come from? Kinda ridiculous for a show that takes itself this seriously to suddenly have most of an episode devoted to some cartoony online avatar deal. And seriously, murdering people so you can be their online avatar? That is just...stupid.

So this is probably where the main part of the story starts. The Commufield really relates to real life social networking sites, though I never knew that you could be killed for deceiving your initial character's behavior in the virtual world. That guy was a real psycho when he thinks that he plays the role of Spooky Boogie better than the woman he just killed. Looking forward to the next episode.

Kinda weird episode. Somehow those avatars creeps me out.
And conspiracy everywhere killing someone over an Avatar.

Well, where there is the internet, there will be goofy avatars. Actually, a goofy avatar is a great way of completely hiding your personality and any physical traits.

Also, they aren't murdering people just to play pretend with their avatars. They can actually make money that way, kind of like a net-idol.

So the culprit's caught, but the crime doesn't seem to end just yet. The way they find the culprit was similar to CSI, so cool. And Kogami as an ex-inspector? I guess the next episode will give more details about his past.

In the end, the guy with many faces had no face of his own...did that sound deep? Cause it sounded deep when I thought it. Anyhow, Psycho-Avatar-Murderer-Thief Guy got his just desserts, courtesy of the "You go boom" bullets. And...Kougami was an inspector? Huh. Oddly didn't expect that.

A psycho Shakespearean schoolgirl slasher. That's a new one. I was wondering why the decided to take a trip to Shoujo-Ai Schoolgirl land there, but it all came together at the end. Seems crazy white-hair just loves backing nutjobs. And the revelation of what sent Kogami's Psycho-Pass over the limit...can't blame the guy. That'd mess me up too.

I was expecting cut-scenes of lesbian sex when those two girls were alone in the room. But then she killed her and made her a live art display. So the mastermind behind the killer drones and the social networking murders is the same person who killed Kogami's comrade. I'm curious to see how the story progresses in the next episode.

What the heck, long white haired sicko villain again?

Dang, I loved this episode. Finally some sick event expected from Gen!! And Kogami ain't as cold as I expected.

A motive, and more reveals of how flawed the Psycho-Pass system is. To think one could become so dependent on the stress management stuff, that they become a vegetable. And it provided a sensible motive for Ms. Psycho Artist here. I guess I'd be pissed to if the system reduced my dad into a barely alive husk.

Mysterious white-hair guy...the start of this chaos just to open society's eyes to make sure they see the truth behind their lives living under the system. I lol'ed at the end when the psychotic girl mentioned about the emotional beauty between the two friends, when one's already dead and the other one about to be dismembered as well. Can't wait to see the grand masterpiece in the next episode.

The Hue Check system started to feel more like a restrain here...

I think that was the point. I mean not many people in this world are exactly comfortable with the Psycho-Pass system monitoring everything you do and then throwing out a number that basically makes or breaks you.

This anime is reminding me of my AP Literature class back in high school, free will vs fate (in this case the Pscyho-Pass system)

Well, the psychotic girl died in the end. Though I thought she'd died due to the power of the Dominatrix. Instead, she became an animal in a hunting ground being chased by robotic hounds and an equally psychotic old man. That short scene of her leg being chopped off by a bear trap, until the part where the robotic hound cut her hand. I felt pleasure. Anyway, Mr. Makishima got his eyes on Kogami now. Looking forward to the next episode to see what he'll do to Kogami. Also, I wish they'd talk more about the skeleton guy in the prison. He seems to be a cool guy.
