[Anime] PSYCHO-PASS

How far would her PP even go up if she had shot Makishima? Would she instantly become a criminal or could she still go through therapy or something? Couldn't she have aimed for his leg or arm or something? She's not trained with traditional guns or anything but is her aim that bad? Though, I might be underestimating the situation because I'd probably be freaking out too.

As everyone here has said, the previous episode was very dark. I nearly cried to be honest. But I guess that this is the most realistic scenario that could happen. It was not a bad episode, it was just too sad.

And on the latest episode, Sasayama sure is a badass enforcer. I've already said this in the other animes that I've watched but the new opening and ending songs are awesome. Must be "good anime soundtracks day". Looking forward to the next episode.

Never knew that the old man is Ginoza's father. I was thinking about him when Ginoza mentioned that he still has a father that he doesn't want to talk to very often. Anyway, the episode was okay. The department finally got Makishima's identity. And Akane's recovery was surprisingly fast. I wonder if she is also "criminally asymptomatic". And that ending where the old lady mentioned about Makishima was really suspicious. Can't wait to find out what happen in the next episode.

Well, that was something. Didn't really expect awesome Masaoka to be buzzkill Ginoza's old man. And I'm pretty sure Boss Lady there is Makishima's mom. Family connections everywhere! Also, Tsunemori actually did something awesome. Good for her.

I knew it, he is his father

Akane is kinda similar to Makishima, in a way.

If Makishima wasn't a psychopath, I'd almost think he was awesome. He keeps finding new ways around the system, and honestly, he's kinda right about what it's turned people into. Obedient sheep with no survival instinct anymore. I hate it when bad guys have good points.

This episode pleases me with the violence. As RandomRedneck said, Makishima is indeed a genius. I believe the helmet was first shown in the beginning of the first episode when Kogami was fighting with a random guy before Makishima made his first appearance, I think.

Anyway, Kogami always get Makishima's plan figured out, which made me feel like, "Whoa...that was some quick-thinking there." It kind of got me impressed. Makishima is a good fighter as well. He's a real tough opponent. And as the usual, he treats his subordinates like disposable things. I wish that the next episode would show the grand plan that Makishima hinted out. But, I guess that it's still too early to show it. It's a good episode overall.

This society is fucked up

You know society is fucked up when people just sit there and watch a woman get beaten to death in the middle of the street.

kind of reminds of that event where this girl was raped in broad public and everyone didn't call 911 since everyone thought that someone already did that

...Damn it, Makishima, stop being awesome! First with the thing about real books VS E-Books. I've been trying to explain that to people for years! And he gets it. Not to mention the dude managed to turn the city upside down, just to get the MWSPB out of the tower. He's awesome...oh, and crazy. That's bad.

From the beginning of the episode, you can feel the tension rising from all the incidents that happened. Makishima and that Chinese-named guy acting so casual while the riots were happening, it made me felt like I should support their plan to succeed. This episode really reminded me of how paranoid society can be sometimes especially when unusually bad circumstances has occurred out of nowhere. Good episode, bet the next one's going to be as good or better.
