Anyway that aside episode 4 was amazing. Loved everything about the episode, most epic part being Nino blushing. The after credit stuff was just ridiculous. The sister takes all those insults and just brushes them off with "sorry" but as soon as he is called boring his freaking scar explodes with blood. xD

I think there was something to the word boring "tsumannai" that set him off. He was probably goin to say sorry "suman/sumanai" again but instead he said "tsuma" which means wife so

Nah, he got into a usual Pun "trap",
not about going to say tsuma, which he obviously stopped saying tsumanai half-ways since he realized he "got in" the trap

since she said "Tsumanai hito", and intended to make him say Tsumanai, meaning that making him acknowledges himself as a boring person.

sort of lost interest to the subject of Sister's collapse and never really cared to whether Stella is loli or yandere or whatever so instead let me be the first to ask

I'm guessing SHAFT couldn't be bothered to animate it? Or maybe she didn't end up wearing it in the manga either, who knows. Suppose it helps retain the special moment from that scene.

Anyway so far I'm madly falling in love with this series and I hope they continue to develop Nino's and Ric's relationship. I'm not expecting anything immense but it'd be nice to see if they almost became inseparable.

Anyway I'm hoping Maria will be shown more in the next episode, perhaps she'll cause someone's head to explode next?

You guys blind? Nino’s wearing the dress the whole entire date, like a princess out of a fairy tale.
Kore ga ohime-same dakko desu!
(Thud…thud-ita, thud-ita, thud-ita...)
Watashi ohime-sama dakko kirai da

Btw, you haven't seen nothing yet (and this goes for everyone unfamiliar with the manga)

Aww, SHAFT... you really didn’t have to

And I did say Maria is extremely a sadist, right? (“Do ESU”)

I didn’t spoil anything (about Sister <3 Maria or when and where they first met as a soldier and a spy) right!?
Also, Shimazaki in 8!

Whoever said it was easy keeping a cheerfully calm demeanor when all you really wanna do is hurt the person in front of you very very badly and burst out in laughter... (right Izaya-kun, Shizu-chan?)

Fact: If there's anyone capable of standing toe-to-toe against Sister in CQC, that would be Snake-janai! Maria.

True, considering the anime doesn't include every single chapter in the manga-- for 4 volumes of "progress/development" to fit into a 13-episode (first) season.

Is it me or has this series gone from Awesome to standard? I was expecting so much out of it after seeing episode one.

However right now it's just a series I follow that's about it. I'm not "expecting" anything anymore.

It's still fun and hilarious, I don't know what changed...

dont worry it's similar to gintama most of the time it will be somewhat a "comedy of the week" and occasionally you get "serious business"

Actually you just did and just when i was about to watch 5 too. But anyway and not taking anything away from Kaimax explanation, so that's half of why sister fell I see....

It has always been pretty “standard” to me from the get-go. Standard by which would normally be expected from a 'Shinbo-SHAFT' production.

It's normal, happens to me all the time. Say out of 10 or more titles I’m following this season, there are only 4, maybe 5, I’m truly attached to. Everything else, I just watch without a care whatsoever.

Nothing’s changed, just as you said it, except for (as far as episode 5 is concerned) the OP perhaps?

But really, the real question here is—what were you expecting out of it in the first place? And with 4-5 episodes in, aren't you supposed to be getting used to its flow (animation, pacing, and whatnot) by now? Also, just to remind everyone, this series is not some sort of "Bakemonogatari" spin-off (although one could say that the number of "oddities" found in this series are off the charts).

Yo Bitch, I mean Superior! You know I still hate Canaan pretty fucking much, right? Just checking if we’re still on the same page. At any rate, I at least would like you to know that Miyuki Sawashiro, since "Kimi ni Todoke", is back to being a good VA in my book. I didn’t think she’d actually be this good as Maria but neither did I doubt that she can.

PS: I'm not teasing you, I'm annoying you. Ignore me; though I guess I didn't need to say that. I know I will be.

I think for Zellgadus the uniqueness of the show has weared off. It may have been awesome at the beginning because it was different, but now that the show is in it's stride the show feels familiar. So it doesn't feel as unique as it once did.

Speaking of which I wonder if it is going to be like Bakemonogatari now with how frequent the Op changes. I still prefer the first though. It’s more appropriate I think.

Spoiler:
5 wasn't so great compared to 4 but we did learn new things from the other residents specially their jobs. So it turns out that Ric and Whitey are the only lechers among the entire populace. XD

How thoughtful of you, neko... indeed that's true, but don't you have anything better to focus your thoughts on, like maybe giving a more insightful input than just referring to "Summer Storm"?

You know what, I did understand what he's going through, more or less, without you saying. What I'm doing is helping him figure that out on his own, without anyone (you included) spoon-feeding him the answer.

Well then, I suppose he'd rather thank you himself.

@undead, I agree (take note: I rarely do) that the first one is the more interesting of the two. Nonetheless, I’d never deny SHAFT of their quirky and fanciful (OP/ED)animations since most of them, albeit absurd, are pretty amusing to watch anyway.

As for the recent change in OP, I bet it's just a one time treat, could be two, only time will tell; typical SHAFT. That said, 6Bridge's OP could only go 3 ways: 1.) Maria-holic sticks, 2.) reverts, or 3.) be completely different/new. It is something to actually look forward to, as it should set the stage for the two polarizing music-geniuses' battle for Nino's attention. But then again, we're talking SHAFT here, so it's also likely to not have any at all... but Hoshi better be wearing his "Get OFF of My Cloud" T-shirt!

Here, have some Rolling Stones:

I was simply trying to help him sort out his feelings. My motherly instincts lead me to spoon feed.

Not quite. Your post was directed more to me than it ever was to him. Your act wasn't a bit "motherly", it's childish.

Does that equate to Riku becoming a "cexi beast" too?

You caught me. I don't have any motherly instincts except maybe to possibly eat my own young. But it was more directed at anyone reading, not you in particular.

Nope, because he is crazy. Chiaki is cexi because he is confident and fearless... uh... except when it comes to flying... and the ocean... and heights...

Soon enough. But before you fill your head with weird ideas, let me make this one thing clear to you: His commitments to the rest of the world is nothing compared to the obligation of paying-off his 'one-in-a-lifetime' debt to Nino.

I can't wait for Daddy to try reenact the whole incident. I'm laughing already just thinking about it.
