You guys… reserved the 130th post just for me? I’m moved. Now, I feel the more obligated to say something, not to mention I haven't, for a week, posted anything.

For starters, here's my usual rhetorics:


Arakawa Under Siege of the HIMO-mania!
For a joke, it's certainly going a bit too far. As a song (incomplete at that), however, it’s a fucking hit! When’s the single gonna be recorded—released? Would Rikiya Koyama be singing it? Will it be Maaya Sakamoto? I don’t know (I really wish I did). What I do know is while these questions are unlikely to be answered soon, the idea of this 'tune' turning into a bona fide single is not completely an impossibility.

I can hear it now... the entire cast of very talented VAs this series has to offer taking turns and ultimately finishing the song off in a chorus. (Shit's gonna be awesome!)

On the other hand, we get to see the drawback of having a special OP in episode 5 in episode 6. It was everything to be expected, but much less to be desired. If it weren't for Nino and the god-awesome chief kappa being fabulous (and Riku on the verge of 'losing it'), it wouldn't have been so easy to shafccept.

Dudes!! Can anyone tell me where I can watch this online... I could really use your help. Thanks. :3

I personally just love the randomness of this show, but I also like how Ric learns things in just about every episode that helps him appreciate the society under the bridge more and more.

Sigh. Arakawa win... Ric is essentially all of us. Wanting to cruise through life with our beliefs yet... people like NINO changes it all. Ahh... Love. That's what its all about! SELF DISCOVERY!!! Gotta love this anime though! So much randomness yet all so relatable :D
