[as] Toonami's Back Bitches

So I watched Deadman Wonderland. I hadn't really heard of it until I saw it was going to be on Toonami. My mind is full of fuck. I just felt bad for Ganta (I had to look it up) being set up like that. One part I did laugh at though was the part with the female warden asking "Any questions?" and then one of the prisoners says, "Yeah, how big are them titties?" "A G". Dem are some big ol' titties.
Casshern Sins was a little hard to follow. Main character fighting robots in post-apocalyptic wasteland. Might keep watching it to see if it gets interesting.
The rest of the line-up besides the new episodes of Bleach I've already seen or its on too damn late. It's 12:58 A.M. here right now and I need to get to sleep.
Like other people have said, it was good to hear Tom's voice again. Maybe once they get higher ratings (and more money), SARA will come back as well.

Glorious dubs are glorious.
I hate dubs, but with Toonami bringing in new stuff to watch for non-sub watchers (yes I have met people who prefer dubs to subs regardless of how bad it is), I think it's all gravy.

[color=#006FFF]I'm quite pleased with all of the anime shown and how Toonami is handled on Adult Swim. It feels like very little has changed since then and that's just how it should be. Still loving Tom and the sleek styling of showing the anime, etc.
I'm very happy to see Toonami back and I'll be looking forward to watching every weekend. Hopefully it's here to stay for a long time too.
Also, Casshern is an anime more like Bebop (in a sense) as opposed to your conventional anime, btw. Some episodes will show more focus on the main plot while others will be about the people Casshern will meet and it'll focus on those people's own stories. The episode to be shown next week will be a good example of what I mean. I hope all of the new people to the series love it because I think it deserves more recognition, but this is coming from a huge fan, lol.

Hey Deadman Wonderland is pretty interesting. I like it. Ganta's voice sounds familiar. Think I heard his voice in Welcome to the NHK. Anyways hope Toonami stays.

Ahah Yamazaki. That's great he did a pretty good job in NHK. And so far not bad as the main protagonist in Deadman Wonderland.

Its very awesome how this was handled. Essentially, as the audience grew up, so did Toonami.
Merging the old AS anime block with new content was a smart move. Heres hoping they bring in ratings so they can get more funding for new content.

I really can't wait to see it as Toonami was what got me into anime originally in the first place. I have so many fond memories of Toonami. It would be a perfect world if Hostess brought back Turtle pies and Good Humour brought back WWF/WWE ice cream bars. :)

Finally a reason to watch tv again. I'm sure that if I didn't watch this as a kid I would think that anime is for gay people just like everyone at my school. Which everyones knows it's not.

Still.. it still horrible as hell. Especially when i know yuki's voice actor in the mirrai dub is going to be the same toad from deadman's.

deadman wonderland was pretty good dubbed, some good talent in that department. Casshern sins was...well interesting, I may end up watching more of it.

Anyone know exactly how many people watched the Toonami block Saturday? [color=#006FFF]The ratings aren't officially out just yet apparently, but they're due out between Tuesday and Wednesday and we'll be informed of them the following week, if I'm understanding DeMarco's tweet correctly.

[color=#006FFF]I certainly hope it was at least equal to, if not more-so than, the April Fool's Day showing. Otherwise, I think we may be off to a bit of a disappointing and possibly rough start since they said they already have certain budget issues.

I have a feeling they did real well all things considering.

from what I understand from the bumps in between commercial breaks, Bleach at midnight did the best with the highest rating of people between 18-40
