It would be more appropriate to say that the bone and cartilage disintegrated on impact. If a vampire can cause an arm to break like it was assembled from LEGOs (from the 'flashback OP'), then a Rainy Devil should be capable of that much.

I'm looking forward to Nadeko Snake. I wonder how the Snake will play into it. Will it be part of Nadeko, an internal force, or will it be outside her, an external force? Then there's the personality of Nadeko herself. She seems like she might be a shy girl with keen sense of fashion.

Anyone think maybe they wasted too much of their animation budget making all these different OPs? There are huge chunks of every episode that are just slideshows basically. I still like it, but I hate noticing that an anime has a budget problem while I am in the middle of watching it.

I think that it's just their style. It's being animated by Shaft and it definitely is their style following Zetsubou sensei and Maria Holic. They have enough money to animate it but this makes the series more unique with the 1 word backgrounds and such. I bet that the show would be a lot more serious if it was fully animated and not by Shaft.

I don't know about seriousness, but this animation style sure adds to its awesomeness. And that's what matters imo.

Rainy Devil will probaly be something that'll not be forgetting for a VERY long time considering just how much awesomeness it displayed.

Many doors were also opened with the recent episodes such as "Shinobu's blade" and that we have now access to the knowledge that Araragi was returned to human not so long back. ( Proving just how capable Oshino is despite his somewhat crappy attitude. *add him in my fav list* )

This Fucking Anime Causes My Mind To Blow Up. I Cant Take It All! But Its Pretty Good.

I was wondering since when was the last time I ever posted/said anything about this series? It certainly felt like an eternity but thanks to it becoming quite popular, it somehow turned me off (from posting, not from watching). Not to mention that I watch each episode in exactly about a week later of its first broadcast; Late, very, but that's what a schedule is for.

Anyways, I believe Shinobu needs more fuckin screen time!!! I could care less about her not talking, in fact it's alright if she doesn't speak at all.


I believe most of us have known of that fact ever since the very first episode.


Actually, he became my favorite character of the series, right off the bat when I first saw him. Such a mysterious guy. Seriously, he needs to at least have an episode of his own.

I laughed at how Araragi thought of him near the end of episode 9. Precisely, he's simply awesome just like that; as if he knows and can see through EVERY-damn-thing in just one glance.


Probably that "keen sense of fashion" you easily took notice of conceals her very oddity.. Also, if there's anything that's "not quite" noticeable from her, it has got to be her waist pouch. I won't be surprised if that in itself was the snake assuming a less conspicuous form. Snakes basically constrict their prey by coiling/wrapping-around them right?

Wow episode 9 was great I freaking loved how Araragi was hugging shinobu while she was sucking his blood.

Can't wait for episode 10.

Shinobu is a girl who lives with Meme in the abandoned building. She appears to be an eight year old girl, but she was originally a beautiful vampire who had lived for more than 500 years. After the events at the end of Koyomi Vamp, she was left in a weakened

Sigh.... Shinobu is trully the best... but wasn`t she the woman in the very beginning of the anime.... the one that fought against Koyomi.... I just hope that they will release the story about Koyomi when he was a vampire.... Pretty wicked...
Shinobu`s case is what I don`t know... Why Shinobu becomes small and why did her personality becomes like that... or was she like that all the time.... Gaaaaa I`m very curious!!!!
