Bakemonogatari

I'm pretty sure there is 3 more episodes (Online) Since I'm Still new to anime, I'm guessing somebody's going to Sub them (if they can download it.)
I'm still assuming that GG aint going to do it. Dam fall line up..

Well, I just caught up and watched both episode 10 and 11. I really liked the concept behind Sengoku's arc, but as the others said, all of the cuts really ruined it for me. I'm guessing that they will all be fixed for the dvd releases, so hopefully I'll get a better feel for this arc then.

Well, who would have guessed? Me of course! :lol:

So, I still haven't seen it and I simply felt like listing the girls in the order of whom I like the best.

1 - Tsubasa Hanekawa (1st, nuff said)
2 - Mayoi Hachikuji (her very playful personality is second to none)
3 - Hitagi Senjougahara (...she's quite entertaining, I give her that)
4 - Suruga Kanbaru (she could have gone a bit higher if not for the fact that she's a lez)
5 - Nadeko Sengoku (being a moe-blob isn't all that bad but neither is it good enough)
6 - Shinobu Oshino (she has yet to do anything other than just sitting in a corner)
7 - Karen & Tsukihi Araragi (they beat the hell out of any alarm clock there is, except for Miya-chan's)

Well, I think a poll is in place for this but I'd rather save it for Jacob to decide later on, at FAKKU!'s front page.

Yey - character listings be what tiggers and Das like best !

1. Tsundere-chan - girl's epic even if she's absent.
2. Mayoi - I miss her.
3. Kanbaru - some priceless appearances during and after her arc.
4. Tsubasa - a week ago she would have been second-last but black-Hanekawa is all kinds of awesome.
5. Nadeko - gains some points for her overall exhibitionism and appearance in the last ep but her arc was a bit of a letdown.
6. Shinobu - fuckloads of potential but alas, she's been useless thus far.
7. Sister combo - less than fuckloads of potential and equal uselessness.


Also - anyone know if all the remaining episodes will be covering Hanekawa's arc or is there something more ?

Shinbo stated in an interview that the last arc is Tsubasa Cat, which made me sad since that means no Koyomi Vamp.

As for my favorites, it goes something like this:
Last: Nadeko - she just hasn't been shown with enough personality yet
Middle: Everyone else
First: Hitagi - Tsundere-chan is tsundere

Once I pick my favorite female out of a series, it's hard for me to sort out the rest since I'm usually so overwhelmingly attached to my favorite.

Let's see...

1 - Suruga Kanbaru (She's a lesbian exhibitionist...what more could you want?)
2. Nadeko Sengoku (She's just so cute! and her story of unrequited love is totally relatable).
3. Tsubasa Hanekawa (I liked her from the beginning, but this current story arc made me like her even more. Nekomimi anyone?)
4. Hitagi Senjougahara (She definitely has the most interesting personality and is hot and hell, but she gets bumped down for not being involved as much).
5. Mayoi Hachikuji (She's...pretty cool. A little bit annoying/bratty to me at times, though. However, She did kick Araragi-kun'a ass, so she gets some brownie points there.
6. Shinobu Oshino (I have a feeling that she'll move up the ranks sometime in the near future, once I know more about her).
7. Karen & Tsukihi Araragi (Meh. Maybe if they were developed more, I'd actually like em, but their potential was wasted).

Found some sweet ass Bakemonogatari art and thought like sharing. I'm so making a collection out of it if this guy makes more of these.

Hm... preferences.

1. Hitagi Senjougahara - Beauty, brains, and feistiness - all in one package.
2. Mayoi Hachikuji - cute, playful and... and... and... really cute.
3. Suruga Kanbaru - lesbian exhibitionist in spats.
4. Shinobu - loli vampire... kind of moe in her own way.
5. Karen & Tsukihi Araragi - younger sisters with spunk in the morning
6. Tsubasa Hanekawa - I'm not much fond of class-rep characters. But neko side is somewhat sexy in its own way.
7. Nadeko Sengoku - young, somewhat sexy in school swimsuit, and still represses her feelings for Koyomi. If she didn't she'd rank higher.

Senjougohara and Kanbaru are my fav. I'm not sure why but I like tomboy-ish girls a little, and Senjougohara being very direct on her opinions without a care of the other party's feelings makes me like her alot more o_O.

Next week’s episode is likely the last so I won’t be surprised if Tsubasa Cat would indeed be the last arc, but only as far as the TV broadcast is concerned. Or are you also telling us that they decided to put off or worse, canceled those 3 more episodes due to some production issues we witnessed in episode 10?

Koyomi Vamp has got to be part of the 15-episode developed/planned adaptation so either they’d be releasing those episodes later on as DVD bonuses or stream them at their website. Otherwise, why even cast Aya Hirano as a loli vampire who hasn’t even uttered a single word once? Plus, why bother showing some sort of a preview for the said arc as the first so called OP sequence? If not, I too will surely be saddened.

As for the episode, I really enjoyed the very serene conversation which Araragi and Hanekawa had. Forget about Black Hanekawa (nekomimi form), that is not the reason why she is at the top of my list anyway. She’s very knowledgeable, a good converser, honest, approachable, trustworthy; a friend whom you could rely on (talk to, consult with your troubles) at times of need and "a good girl" overall. She might not be the most exciting character to watch but when she speaks, there’s meaningfulness and sincerity within her words.

Well, I wonder how this arc would conclude as the series comes to a close at the same time. Wouldn’t it be so damn easy/convenient for it to be resolved the very same way that it had been before? Maybe this time around, it’s more of like preventing the oddity before it could completely resurface again.

The next episode is the last episode so it very well should be the ending. Also considering that even if we'd get to see "Koyomi Vamp" in the near future, it's more of a prequel to the series. I even think that an episode may be more than enough to fully cover his arc. There shouldn't be much of any interaction with anyone back then. Both of his two younger sisters supposedly each have a chapter (story arc) of their own in the novel as well so... :roll:

Poor shaft. At least they are only releasing one series in the fall, (well, besides the hidamari sketch special and negima special...).

Does find "black chairman" to resemble a certain "shocking" creature?



There's a nice ring to the contridictiion towards "Black Tsubasa" being refered to as black when She's a streaming white~ Quite attractive when at that state really, made me lose my composure for a good few minutes.

(Was i fooling around with with my fav list? Wanted to , but got freaking owned by my friend at msn for being such a playboy. T_T ...WHAT'S WTONG ADDING IN GOOD WOMEN?!)

Not that it matters , black or white are colors that are appealing to be me.

This episode can be described with 3 words

"Standard,"HELL?!" and Nadeko."

Shaft never dissapoints.... cept for Nadeko's arc which i still demand justice done for it. And this episode has yet again done it's part to expand it's name for being a company that delivers.

The cat oddity in my opinion does reflect well towards my expectation, sure i was expecting the cat ears to appear and that Hanekawa with her glass off and hair let down was a sight to behold (+ a pair of cat ears was near K.O) but once again making me doubt...

Is this arc gonaa surpass Suruga monkey?

SENGOKU NADEKO!!! <3 <3 <3

Don't you smell the moe just looking at her, i mean... it PERFECTION. I'm really not into lollis (well considering she has a pair of boobs, why still consider her lolli. z.z) BUT! Sengoku Nadeko really had me going on full steam. Not to be some asshole pioneer or anything but she got me hooked ever since her initial appearance when running down the temple stairs.

Perhape it's due to the fact that she resembles quite similar to my beloved wife.

Araragi... I could've sworn i'd do 2 things to you.

1) Kill you for trying to do perverted thing to Sengoku
2) treat you to coffee if you've shown us the contents under the skirt.

Anyway, after return my trip with a blood soaked STUDDED B.ball bat. concluded that Araragi is perhapes just one of the most practical, most common (well not so common since he's 1/10 of a vamp?) man in this season but yet gets all the ladies which in turn wanting to return for a second round of fury.

He gets himself a harem of top notched ladies and is nearly immortal. I'll take this opportunity to say the following words....

"FUCK YOU ARARAGI! YOU'RE AWESOME." :D


Ah yes, the preview. Suck to hear there's gonna be so little episodes. Why must all good animes deserve such a fate?! D:

SENGOKU NADEKO rocks my world as the top in bakemonogatari.

2 - Senjouhara Hitagi.

Tsudere, arrogance and that bit of yandere .... perfect.

She has the ideal attitude to be deemed awesome. My pal is OBSESSED with her, i can understand why though not sharing his madness. =|

3 - Kanbaru Suruga

Honestly, i didn't want her in. Call me an asshole, i'm never into Yuri. sister complex takes matters into different hands though.

But she made it and should be proud. Her unique nature got her the bronze.

I believed her jelousy towards Araragi contributed. i remembered rewinding the detail on how the mummy hands 10s of times, TENS of times. Fantastic, that in my opinion is essential for a woman. Sure.... jelousy is an ugly emotion but hey, Kanbaru did it splendidly.

Because we apparently live in different time zones and/or have different sleeping habits.

I can't even begin on processing my thoughts on this. One could say that they're boring for like centralizing on discussions, conversations, and pretty much constant talking but I still like them both for being thought-provoking; with an existing sense of realism. And of course, the (mostly female) characters being the selling point of most anime nowadays, which nobody can deny!


And so I thought it was funny how Araragi and Nobita quite resembled one another in terms of "anmusing" [(-)ANnoying + (+)AMusing] the hell out of me.
