Code Geass R2 Epi 25 End
0
I think a spin-off'll be made, but I don't believe a third season of this universe will ever be made. I think it's a perfect ending.
Alive or not, I doubt Lelouche is EVER going to be seen by anyone again. He know the importance of his role more than anyone. For Lelouche to live, I can see two reasons for it:
1.) Promise with C.C.
2.) To be believable, he has to trick even the people he loves. He's done it countless times. He might still be planning to use his immortality to make sure mankind goes in the right direction.
3.) C.C. took initiative and gave Lelouche immortality selfishly(IE, she loved him.)
Can also be a combo. (Only possibles to why based on character personalities.)
His death, alternate meaning to his last words that would mean his death:
C.C. will actually be giving Suzaku Geass. Lelouche said that he would have to live with that mask forever. Might just be a figure of speech and he just means for the rest of his life.
I'll admit, though. I had some water works forming when Nunnally why over Lelouche's body screaming. I think many of the old teammates of his understood his role, thus why all the horrified faces. I hope they did realize what kind of sacrifice he made for the sake of the world.(I'm sure his prime reason was still for Nunnaly.
Anyway, here's to the inevitable release of the OVA, "Code Orange - Jeremiah of the Orange Farm". You know that they're going to do it.
You get REP for that one. *water shot out his nose*

Possibility that these are fake, but i thought i'd at least share what i discovered.

Pretty interesting if you ask me. Do i believe in the facts presented? Yes, i refuse to believe Lelouch has died(Letting go issues, lawl).
Anyway, heres the source

guys lelouch is alive, i cant show u draw physical proof, but there are 3 symbols at the end that say hes alive.
1. at the end when you see C.C. on a Carvan, the person driving the caravans face is hidden.
2. when C.C. says Lelouchs name at the end her voice gets louder as if shes shouting to him near by
and last but not least
3. the oragami bird which Nunally gave to lelouch sits right above next to C.C
now yes, these are very contraversial, but 3 good facts that say lelouch is alive.

Beautiful ending. I'm also fine with the thought that Lelouch is still alive.
I had a burst of euphoria when I saw Jeremiah working at the farm together with Anya. His survival was way more important to me than that of Lelouch. What a relief.
But if I'm not mistaken, Gino was missing at the end. Whatever, I'm just pretending he's studying at Ashford Academy and becoming Kallen's boyfriend. Yeah, sounds good.

If you haven't watched it why come here to discuss it?
Anyway, the irony of the ending as the crowd cheers for Zero as the real Zero is dying touched me... It was also sad because the Black Knights finally realized Zero's true nature after he dies.
I'm one of those that don't believe Lelouch died. There are just too many evidences pointing to him being alive.

The ending of Code Geass here was frigging epic. I loved it~ And how there are so many different ways you can view the ending. I am sure they'll release a Movie or an OVA to lock some "final" ending down for this~

aw come on man i did not need to know that some one died man now the series is ruined thanks :(Well, I think is your own fault. This is the discussion thread so prepare for spoiler talk in here.
Back on Topic:
Why do people deny that Lelouch is dead? And there's no guarantee that the cart driver is Lelouch.
This one is best with Lelouch's Death, seeing him alive again might make people happy, but that just changes the whole reasoning of Lelouch's Atonement. What can Lelouch atone by being a cart driver? If Lelouch IS the cart driver, than he's just adding more sin, because his lying to the whole world again.
Just accept Lelouch's Death.
:D
I agree but if u have seen stranger than fiction, the last line uttered is, not quoted but, the man that is willing to die, isnt that the man you want to keep alive?

I still agree that his death would mean more than him being alive and alone with cc. but what if he somehow obtained vv code and both lelouch and cc were immortal? just a thought. or even if cc gave her code to lelouch that would be cool. i doubt she would keep it.

It doesn't matter, he'd be dead to the world and thus his final sin. (Which was all for the good of mankind, anyway.)
This would fullfill his promise to C.C. (His last promise was to see her smile from the heart. He hadn't fullfilled that condition. Thus a reasoning for him to be alive and immortal due to Charles' code.)
I think it would be a great twist, seeing as they've done far more unbelievable stuff during the course of the show.
In the end it's all speculation. It's obvious they WANTED debate by the wording of many characters, actions, and the fact you can't see the driver at all (Obviously they showed his shoulder and paused, so that's for dramatic effect.), thus creating all sorts of speculation.
The creator's will spill the beans eventually, though. They always do. (Or they tell you "Well, it's up to the viewer YADDA YADDA".)

The ending is the most suitable ending for this series than anything else cause it make us see the meaning of sins, friendship, hatred, illusion happines without knowing, and to pay the ultimate Consequent for all this,
its much better than an so often heard "...happy ending..." or an ending that still got to much to offer!
Its just perfeckt!

I know all the postulations about Lelouch assuming the mantle of R.R hold water, given the series title and all. But I think it is an ironic (and 99.9% likely unintentional, mind you) coincidence that LeLouch or L.L falls alphabetically almost smackbang between C.C and V.V . Which is to say that he is the zero of the sum of the two.
Of course I also love to read far too much into things and create often irrational theories. Or I could just be reacting to the finale of a great series. Alas I bid my Monday morning entertainment adieu. Til we meet in the fair vale of DVD's or chance upon eachother in an OVA.
