Code Geass R2 Epi 25 End

Fucking internet connection.
I'm a day late to this.
Anyway, I know Lulu has not died. I knew it as soon as the sword pierced him.
How?
Because he didn't die. His death was much too much in his own style, where he waits for everyone to go "Ohhh....fucking duh!", then dies. Business as usual with him. Every other reason, the bird, the phrase, the cart, and etc, have already been pointed out.
As for the "He haz a Code!" theory, I can actually see the logic behind that one. For C.C.'s, Sunrise IS careful not to show her forehead. Before, we'd get the odd glimpse of it whenever she was in sight. And, oddly, even Charle's code makes sense. The Code, having originated in the world of C, would most likely grant physical immortality in both C and the real world. With an accessory that would most likely be described as "The object of eternal existence", it would sort of fail at providing the user with effective immortality if the world of C could dissolve them into mush. I guessed Lulu had been given a code when he mushed Charles, but being stabbed in the heart and not dying drove the point home for me.
Wait...fucking puns today.
And, I have some small reason to believe that Suzaku has one, as well.
One being that the world of C did not mush him. I have this theory that Lulu redid the inner workings of C to make it so that those without a Code would be mushed, thus preventing another Charles world domination attempt. Charles and Marian were mushed because they had no codes, Lulu, C.C., and Suzaku were not mushed.
And two being that Suzaku, without the magic "Oh, right. Those are there" eject pod, managed to escape the Lancelot blowing up with the Guren's arm lodged firmly in his lower body. You could see blood where the arm ripped into the cockpit. Sunrise also specifically did not show Suzaku's lower body during his cockpit shot.
*Insert two cents*

Suzaku may very well possess Geass in some form, depending on how evolved Lelouch Geass was at the time he Geassed him. Or he may have given him that later, when Suzaku was to become his right hand man.

Yeah, I thought this was an awesome ending. Of course, I'm in denial about Lelouch's death, but still ...I'm still wondering where Sayoko was in the end.

Eh...I believe Lulu is alive. All the reasons that I'd have for this has already been given. Sorry, but with all the little hints they throw out, there really isn't room for speculation. Also, a little bit of proof that he has a code, whether it be Charles' or C.C.'s, is that he bestows a "Geass" upon Spinzaku. Although many people would say it's more along the lines of a promise between friends, I'll personally believe it to be a Geass power and Lulu would have to have a code in order to do that. And..."HELLO!!!" the memory flashes that occurs when you touch someone with a code (like when C.C. did it to Spinzaku) that happened when Nunnaly touched Lulu.
In closing....JeremiahxAnya doujin in the future for sure!

Well... Of course it was in his own style, he planned his own death... Everything he's done since he and Suzaku teamed up was for that single moment.

Lelouch has no power in the world of C. Even C.C. and Charles can only affect the world of C to a small extent. If you re-watch the episode, you'll notice that Lelouch asked the "Gods" to stop Charles, as he had no power that could defeat Charles on his own. The "Gods" simply answered his request. As for your theory that the world mushed all those without codes, that would be false. As up until his hands disappeared, Charles had V.V.'s code. And Marianne did not have a body, what we saw in the world of C was in probably the best way I can put it, an astral projection of her.
Suzaku never had his own Geass during the incident in the WoC with Charles. So he couldn't have gotten a code from C.C., unless the world of C.C. saw it fit to give him a code as well, which theoretically would not have activated until he died, meaning that Lelouch's Geass would still be in effect. I also highly doubt that he would have made a contract to get his own Geass as he has stated several times of his dislike for Geass. In the final battle against Kallen, he used the Geass that Lelouch placed upon him in the first season, which he used several times throughout the last episodes. If he did not have his own code, what kept him alive in the end, was probably the Geass Lelouch placed on him, and, if you are correct, he might have been fitted with cybernetic parts, which would explain why he could literally clear a knightmare in a single leap...
Also, just another thing that everyone either forgot completely, or forgot to mention, was the fact that C.C. sealed her code, which prevented Charles from gaining it, and also caused her amnesia(or she just sealed herself up in her mind) until Anya/Marianne appeared infront of her. I believe the reason why we haven't seen her code towards the end is that she never unsealed her code.

...if you are correct, he might have been fitted with cybernetic parts, which would explain why he could literally clear a knightmare in a single leap......No cybernetics here. Remember, you're talking about Spinzaku here. He can do a whopping 3600 degree spin kick....he's just kick-ass like that. And in my opinion, he beat Kallen at the end and just didn't aim for a vital spot so he could fake his death. It was a necessary part of Lulu's plan in having him wear the mask forever. I have to say though, you did make a good point in saying that Lulu died...like C.C. and V.V. did multiple times.
But, guys, I've gotta get something offa my chest. Has anyone taken the time to check out the "Nunnaly's Nightmare" spin-off? I know it isn't relevant to the actual story, but there was another person with a code in that story and his name was nemo...which didnt folow the naming code of two letters like C.C., V.V., and R.R..
Oh, and one last thing, HELLO FAKKU!!! I've been coming to fakku for over year, since before those first ugly server changes and all that mess, but the ending to this season of Code Geass and the discussion here prompted me to actually post for the first time...LOL

That's hot. I think we need a new Nunnally doujin to celebrate the end of Code Geass.
I came across a couple of pictures. I'm pretty sure most of us have seen these already but just wanna share to those who haven't.

This second picture apparently shows Lelouch still alive but if you re-watch that last part where CC is narrating, they never show or close up on that masked guys face. But there are rumors that this picture comes from the soon to be released DVD. Which is kind of odd, but whatever.

But there are rumors that this picture comes from the soon to be released DVD.I wouldn't be surprised if they put an extra scene like that in, kinda like Eureka 7 had 2 ending episodes that were almost exactly the same save for one extra scene. They'll probably use the rumor as a selling point like they did with season 1 about how C.C.'s name "slipped"(I still want undeniable proof)

“The Power of Kings, called Geass, will make people lonely,” she said with a slight smile, allowing a soft laugh to escape her tender lips. “I suppose that wasn’t quite true. Right, Lelouch?”
The guys at Fanfic.com are having a field day with this one.

Well, obviously it was planned. What I'm referring to is that our dear Emperor Lulu, with his well known powerful constitution, had a long sword shoved into his chest and through his heart...

C.C. has never died. She's essentially only been knocked out. If you'll notice, the bullet to the head she took, she did not lie there as a corpse for a bit, she took a headshot, then gave Lulu his Geass, and we promptly forgot to kick the body to see if she was dead.
When she was shot in the heart in R2, I don't believe she even deigned to fall. Simply brushed some of the blood off and gave Lulu his Geass.

Not an astral projection of her. It was her mind, given form by the realm of the mind, the world of C. Lulu did not ask the Gods. He commanded them, with a Level 3 Geass, to "bring about the future". Then we had a time skip. No one can ratify nor deny any sort of afterwords plotting done in C.
As for Charles, remember that Geass and the Code both are gifts of C. When C is busy digesting you, it matters not if you have the code or no. C may simply have invalidated it, in direct compliance with Lulu's "Give us the future" command.

No one has denied the effective use of Live on! by Suzaku. And being granted a Code is not the same as being subjected to Ora...fuck, Jeremiah's Geass Canceler. He would not have made a contract for a Geass, but that does not mean C could not have been ordered to grant him a mark.
As for C.C., she sealed her code within her personal C, the world within her mind. When she had her chains broken, so too did her Code Re-emerge.

CC does die, she just revives quite quickly. IE, the time she and Orange fought and she was sent to the ocean floor. Crushed by the water pressure, body drifted to shore and then was revived. FYI, she does fall from the heart shot, Lulu catches her.(I wonder if she grew a new head when she was killed by the guillotine...or what.)
Where are you guys getting "The World of C" from? I thought it was called Sword of Akasha.
The only reason Suzaku and CC survive the Sword of Akasha event was because they were against Charles and Mariannes' plan. The unconsciousness of the human race seems to just make whoever wanted that plan to go into effect disappear.
