Dog Days (Second Season Announced!)

Note: Topic has been re-created due to the recent problems with Fakku servers. My original post has been edited slightly.
Catgirls have been hogging the limelight for a quite a while now and it is time the Doggirls retaliated.
From the producers of Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha, the storyline of Dog Days takes place in another world where two races are currently at war. To defend her race, the princess of the dog-like humans summon a middle schooler from earth to aid them in their battle. How will things eventually turn out?
The first aspect of Dog Days which caught my eye would be the similarity in animation and artwork to that of the Nanoha series. However, with the main character being a male this time round, I am not sure if the popularity of this title would be able to reach unprecedented levels. On the other hand, with Horie Yui and Mizuki Nana voicing some important characters, there should be a following.

I will leave everyone with a link to the official anime website.

This reminds me of where Arf would come from had this been set in the Nanoha universe.

Had my eye on this one. Not for sure if it is worth being on my "Watch-List", but I will check it out nonetheless.

Director of Production
I really don't see the difference between dog ears and cat ears when it comes to them on people D:

Looks interesting enough like the hero's intro from the 1st episode. Same here. I just seen the first episode and did peek my interest. However, kinda weird they are treating war. Guess, I'll be watching this after all to see how it progresses. On a side note: God, the download file was huge, however the quality was worth it.

Well, animation quality was good. Storyline was kinda cheesy and lol-worthy... A bit too clichéd and childish for me. Feels like a kid's anime to me.
I guess I'll watch the next ep to see how things pan out...

The storyline is kinda like zero no tsukaima doesn't it?
[spoil]The difference is no killing in the war.And I feel like its an online game or something like that.[spoil]

I couldn't care about the story and animation all because that ostrich like creature pissed me off.

SO the War isn't a war? What? Yeah, the storyline is like Zero no tsukaima except that the main male character isn't a perverted bonehead but our favorite Dazzling Stage boy :D

Also feel the same, hoping they won't do any cheesy drama then I'm out.

It's more like how Nanoha use to be.
In the Nanoha universe, shelled weapons were removed totally (nukes count), and magic is non-lethal, despite how powerful the magic is/looks.
Well, it IS from the creators of Nanoha. So why not borrow a little something from previous works?

I'm pretty sure that Nanoha was a bit more darker than this, even if people did survived Nanoha's Star Light Breaker attack.

Someone actually died in Nanoha....Starlight Breaker is apparently strong enough to crush a plane, but not enough to kill a person....lol
