I think thats so stupid how all it is the original story just changed a littleThe first (aka Peice of crap) show was a money grab to build off the early success of the manga. It followed the original story but rather than pull a naruto and go on filler for like 2 years to let the manga get ahead, it went in a completely different direction. The show is only similiar up to the point till the first series decided to smoke a joint and take a U-turn. As the other person said, within the 15-20 episodes. Also, this series has ZERO filler. I admit I am not 100% familiar with the more recent manga issues, I stopped reading them once I heard the first news they were going to make a series closer to the actual story (which they have done, marveously) but now the show is past where I had read so not 100% sure if they are still staying true to the manga. Get the feeling they have.
Won't go into spoilers, but having watched the other series will actually lead to lots of huge surprises, and after about 30 episodes you will realize just how horrible a job they did the first time around compared to how the manga had the story. Even stuff as fundamental as to the origin of the hormonculis is RADICALLY different. (again, I will avoid spoilers, don'y worry).
Basically, anyone whos thinking thsi show is just a re-dux of the original with better graphics and no filler is dead wrong. I am most certainly an anime snob and can say this is without a doubt one of the best stories I've seen told. Do yourselves afavor, drink heavily untill those brain cells containing the fucktarded endings from teh first show are killed, and start watching thisshow asap.
in short: The first show is about as in depth as a saaturday morning cartoon. Brotherhood is as good and mature a story asyou willsee in an anime, IMO.

FMA will be ending in July? Not sure and it will end simultaneously with the manga with same ending, i got to say i havent watched an anime nor read a manga this satisfying in a long time and to follow the speed of the manga, smart move, it's a good alternative to choose to read the manga or watch the fight in anime

I usually got my episodes from Tomodachi subs but the site has been down since forever. How do you guys get your episodes nowadays? I had to do some googling for it.
