God only knows how long I've waited for something like this to happen. A bit sad that they were just implying BUT OH WELL IT MADE ME HAPPY ANYWAYS.

Just finished re-watching the series and had once again witness epicness. Also, can't wait for the movie.

Lol to think that yesterday i just watch all of King Bradley's battle scene and here FMA's topic is still alive and kicking is really cool.

I find it hard to be excited over another movie. The series is over; everything's been resolved, and I don't really care about seeing the characters doing more stuff. The ending of the series pulling out all the stops, and every character did his best. Anything they can do in the movie will be inferior.

Hi everyone, i recently watched FMA the original series and i loved it. It was a masterpiece.
I've been suggested many times to start Brotherhood, so i have.

Got to episode 7, and what the hell?
It's like no character development, its rushing through the main story super quick.
Is the first part of the series a recap or am i just really not enjoying it?

It would take more than 50 episodes if it didn't did that, and honestly, I prefer it like that, since I don't want to watch the same early episodes of fullmetal alchemist all-over again.

Brotherhood really focuses on the manga ending, not the start of the manga.

So when does this movie take place? Is it based off of brotherhood or the first anime.
