Watching ep.51 now.
This is why I freakin love this anime,. Each episode has a great amount of action, humor, and drama, but it always ends with you knowing there will only be more. It's fucking intense.

I just started watching this and I gotta say, I like it. Way better than the first run IMO.

woooooow, this new opening sucks.

saw the new episode and aside from the OP song being way too mellow & ED visuals nothing but a slideshow, this episode itself was fucking epic! Envy's return was awesome and makes me extremely happy. ...I fucking love this, especially in his monster form.

Yeah I was worried about lil girl there, thought envy was going to do the no-no.

Feels good to know that I watched 26 episodes today. Now I'm on episode 27. But sadly, I can't go on. I need sleep. Will catch up to latest by the end of tomorrow or so.

I got hooked. Can't stop watching..eyes are heavy.

I still have this strong feeling that
1. it will finish at the same time as the manga
2. OR stop making the anime at a crucial point, and announce it as a Final battle OVA.

I reckon they might put the anime on break for a bit if it catches up to the manga before it even finishes. If they do a different ending it'd make the entire anime kinda pointless.

I finally caught the pattern right before Heinkel said anything.



EDIT: Oh, and this new OP is the first one for the series that's bad. It kinda disappoints me, as they had such an awesome-streak so far.

I don't why know people always Bash the new OP for some silly reason,...(yeah this happened in the 3rd OP, before they started liking it)
ie: too mellow (seriously, mellow?), not OP material? don't match the animation?

I think it was good in a some way that is not related to the "song" but in the depth and content of MEANING of the song, combined with the beautiful animation sequence = an OP sequence that is supposed to explain the situation of the anime

I agree with Kaimax. Listen to the song and look at the opening. It really goes with it. Try listening to just the song, it'll feel different(to me anyways)

Off! Btw I caught up today. DAMN!! Have to wait every week now. Was getting good too.

and to add to the equation: Try reading the subbed lyrics, and found out how "beautiful" and "matching" is the song and the lyrics. :D

The song does match the situation of the manga in that they are reaching the conclusion and a lot of people are about to be sacrificed etc., but the song itself isn't really catchy at all. It's one of those songs you just want to skip every time you watch the new episodes.

Episode 52 was good. Alphonse finally show what he's made of..well, kinda. But Armstrong, damn. He strong.

Armstrong is powerful but its just not the same unless he's molesting Ed and Al >> I'm not sure if anyone's seen episode 53 but if you have then you all know Mustang is a freaking beast O_O

Mustang can ultimately kill ANY homunculus he encounters, none of them can withstand an endless barbecue. but it won't be fun and interesting to the story though

this episode is so full of fire, Mustang finally found Maes Hughes's murderer...8)
