Funny anime

Nichijou! Hands down.

the best comedy series in my opinion. Best meaning funniest would probably be Azumanga Daioh. But I also find most ecchi shows to be very funny

1. Carnival Phantasm (But you really have to know Fate and Tsukihime for this one)
2. Sora no Otoshimono
3. Full Metal Panic especially Fumoffu
4. Lucky Star

GINTAMA FTW DUDE, BEST SHOW EVVAAAA, never stops with the insane amount of laughter i get each episdoe, unless it's a serious arc with the action and the ACTIOn, AND ACTIOONNNN

Nichijou, Seitokai Yakuindomo, Baka Test to, and Yuru Yuri.

There is another one, it's still on going though, it's called Daily Lives of High School Boys.

Well if OVAs are included then i'd say it's definitely Angel Densetsu, trust me it's hilarious :D

Wait- nobody mentioned Sayonara, Zestubou Sensei? Such a dire oversight leaves me in despair!

Strangely, my two favourite anime comedies are probably Azumanga Daioh [and by extension Yotsuba&!] and SZS. I say strange, because even though they're both quirky schoolgirl comedies, Azumanga is basically very sweet and innocent and heart-warming, whereas SZS is.... the opposite of all of those things.
