Same, unlike stuff like Air and Kanon which uses sometimes bizarre scenario's that couldn't really happen to anyone to get people to start crying, a lot of the stuff in BGI I have had happen to friends or myself. The realistic take on some of the messed up stuff that happens in regards to love (especially stuff that brings back memories of some of my own circumstances) I find to be far more powerful than ghosts or fox spirits passing away or someone getting shot in the face or something extreme like that.

^^^^Me too... lol I was just laughing... non-stop. Cept when L was gonna die... I saw that coming a mile away and no I didn't read the manga and I still haven't.
Lol I just always laughed... never cried to an anime. When you give me a plot twisted ending or a sad one... I just laugh or say what the fuck knida ending is this?

When i saw Bleach :memories of nobody the Samurai X movies and Eureka seven. When i saw the bleach movie in theaters i didn't cry but it gave me a sort of lump in my throat then when my friend asked me what i thought about it. I sounded funny so he started teasing me about it. He still hasn't stopped to this day

When i was wathing the rain scene i thought it was an ok scene but when they were drying each other off i said what the f out load then started laughing but my mood changed when he died cause it was a pretty fast death for a heartattack with not much resolve

Yeah, you're all men (well, most of you), and you probably don't want to admit it; but have you ever watched an anime that made you cry?I watch a lot of drama/romance anime and there were moments where I've come near to tears; but I've never actually burst crying.
If I do get emotionally distressed from watching an anime, it's probably because it's the last episode (and I hate seeing series end) rather than something actually sad going on in the anime.

I guess I'm just too sensitive at times XD This happens mainly because I relate and empathize with the characters a lot =/ I'll try to name a few off my head~

-falling off a tree and becoming a wandering spirit ... didn't see that coming

-last episode where she was going to the airport and THEN her friend "dying" on the airplane ... the bed scene at the end KILLED the moment

Yeah, there were some anime's that made me cry. But the most distinct one that made me emotional was Ghost in The Shell: SAC near the end where the Tachikoma's were trying to protect Batou, and where the Major got sniped and Batou was crying out her name.

I mean come on, she's Motoko fucking Kusanagi, there's no way a sniper could take her out, she's just that damn good.
