I'm happy though, but I'd be happier for a second season.



*shudder* I hope not. If there is a second season, expect it to cover light novels 8-13 including the possible last novel volume by 2010.

It got hard for the anime creators of Rosario+Vampire, that's why the second season was pfft. The material (manga) storyline progressed at a rate the anime was able to catch up to as well, so they employ the Naruto solution - fillers.



Well, kind of true, given the past number of harems that got the quickie. Unfortunately, the budget for Kampfer was for 12 episodes, so it's no secret that they's rush it. But the ending could've been more worse, so thank God they at least settled for a good ending here ^_^

can't ignore female natsuru.........she's one of my favorite best character design........i really wish he will still have at least half of his time as a she lol

All i can say is that dont be so optimistic in expecting a 2nd season...

the novel will end at 2 volumes and the anime NEARLY covered it all up....

Though if the second season will come i will think that this will be the final deciding point of it all...

The fighting pretty much sucked in my point of view since I thought the White kampfers are supposed to be strong but found out they are hecka weak IMO...But Kaede.....Natsuru should've slapped her...Still saying he loves her even though she is literally trying to kill them...

I'm just going to be frank with my opinion regarding episode 11: What the hell? That was just all around faggoty.

Oh well, I still hope a second season airs.

Eps 11 was interesting until there was singing in the background.

Natsuru made a wise choice of having a harem instead of Sakura... Though if Natsuru could ask for his reward to be a harem with all the kampfers and get it granted, I think that may justify the means to support the other side (in either male or female form).

Well the ending could be better but overall I enjoyed Kampfer. Though I find it a waste that the White Kampfers are so weak. They didn't even intimidate Shizuku and co. But overall I liked it. I would like to see a season 2 but please, I don't want to see a shitty season 2 like R+V.

I enjoyed Kampfer 1 thru 11 but 12 sucked badly. It was worst than the last episode of Stargate SG-1.

A fanservice ending is very suiting for a fanservice anime.

I have to agree with you there...I was expecting soooooo much more from ep 12!

You should note that in reality the series ended on ep 11. According to Wikipedia, that was just an OVA-ish episode. I'm expecting a season 2, of course.

Episode 12 was a major disappointment. I was expecting serious amounts of fanservice, instead we got the annoying animals and was forced to put up with the Tiger's voice all freakin' episode! The only good thing about it was seeing Natsuru Female and Natsuru Male (with mustache) in the same place.

Episode 12. Allow me to flat-out say I was down.

Fanservice, yes, it was pure sheer joy, but having it as a "bizarre Christmas story" gave me the creeps. Yikes. Short and long of it is, the Kampfers and their moderators switch bodies, they go on a wild tour trip, meets and plays sexy games with Kaede, and feels pain. Oh, this is a story told by female Natsuru to a kid. Bizarreness follows, but it was for laughs and it was all good. And Kaede on a ho-ho sleigh giving out Entrail toys, including the 4.

But fanservice - there you go ^_^

Yep, the novels will end soon. The big hope for a second season relies on the remaining novels to have enough material (including the points from the past 4 volumes that wasn't covered up) to encompass another 12 episodes. Don't be too optimistic, but it won't hurt to wish for it. We'd love a second season.

So, that's it for Kampfer. For now I'll be content for novel snippets. Right, zeKer? ^_^

On second thought, I was strangely reminded of Puny Puny Poemy when I watched ep12.

Probably it was all for the fanservice and laughs. It's a silly episode, and probably to backtrack it's really that - fun.

I can't say this is a fave episode for me, but I'll have to rate it a 7.

(Actually my friends gave it a 4/10, but I rewatched the episode without pausing and found it to be for what it is - silly fun.)

Also, there's a manga version of Kampfer. Another satisfaction outlet ^_^

Fanservice titles are always welcomed, at least by myself. In any case, I thought Kampfer did well in the seiyuu aspect - It managed to throw in quite a number of popular voice actresses. The ending theme sounds kinda cute too.

Nevermore, the fights near the end were very boring, almost not even worth to watch.
