LOL That's great news indeed. I'll keep an eye out for that.
I hope it's a sequel. Or a full-on series completion of sorts a la FMA Brotherhood since Toshihiko Tsukiji already published the last and final light novel volume. I mean, they can do a 26-episode series for this. Or if fantasizing and wild daydreams are allowed, they can do a VN out of this.

Anyway they do it, I'd like it ^_^

2 episodes based on Toshihiko Tsukiji's action comedy light novels to air next March

King Records' Starchild Records label is streaming a promotional video for Kämpfer für die Liebe, the new Kämpfer anime which will air next March. The same video is running at this week's Comic Market 79 event in Tokyo. A new project based on Toshihiko Tsukiji's Kämpfer light novel series was first announced at the TBS Anime Festa event in Tokyo in August. The light novels already inspired a television anime series last year.

The story of Kämpfer centers on Natsuru Senō, an ordinary high school boy who discovers that he has been involuntarily chosen to participate in battles as a "Kämpfer." Moreover, he must have the body of a girl to use his powers in battle.

Update: The StaChiMania pamphlet reports that the new Kämpfer special has two episodes. They serve as episodes #13 and #14 to the previous television anime. [Via Moe Ota-News Sokuhō]

Now March is my new January. I do hope they put a definitive ending to the series. But based on the Starchild website, I think I have an idea as to what could happen. Full bitch mode for Kaede, please :) And more Natsuru. With Shizuku.

Kampfer would be totally awesome if Natsuru wasn't such a wimp. Even if Shinji's extremely wimpy, at least he gets things done.

Alright, just started watching Kampfer... Heh, so the Kampfer fight the Kampfer because they are Kampfer, eh? Not exactly a deep plot, but I'm enjoying the fanservice.
