I really don't think Hinata is dead, but seeing how Kishimoto has been on a killing spree lately, who knows.
He blew up the village without a second thought, he murdered everyone who had a connection to hanzou, even the children, and you dont think he would be able to have the heart to stab some teenage girl to death?

As such when more tails grow he will probably fuse with the bones and the addition of muscle, fur and the like, until hes looks exactly like the 9 Tails

why don't you see one ,two , three,8 tails. they all look alike to basically sand monster,racoon,tortoise and a octopus bull? well u can't expected naruto character figure were just a normal black skin person crawling on the floor with tails and sharp mouth :? :?

Well, I guess every character can't have a epic death. But dammit! It still isn't conclusive because if a character in this manga doesn't have a funeral they can't be counted as dead. (If they're a good guy/hyuuga that is)
I still won't believe Kakashi's dead before I see his funeral.... and even then I won't be 100% sure.

Kishimoto just doesn't seem to be able to do character deaths well lately.If this indeed was her death-scene (which i doubt) then i think it was pretty nice, her confessing her love only to be killed seconds after, proving Pain's point of twisted justice.
However fukken badass Pain is, im getting kinda annoyed at his constant "My pain is blablabla" talk..
He makes up for it by killing people though :P

It's a good thing Kishimoto didn't over-dramatize the deaths of the Konoha ninjas. Some good points we can take from the slaughtering: death is ugly, uncool, just like that. Stab, *blargh*, you die. And every Konoha ninja, as overpowered as they may seem, can die. Also the fact that good guys can lose.. It's so realistic, still acceptable, and not something stereotypical(read:boring/predictable) like some other mainstream battle manga/anime.. [size=6]*coughbleachcough* [/h]
You can't blame him for being emo after he saw the death of his parents in front of his eyes :P . Just look at Batman >_>

yes, but with the Exception of Itachi's Death which is one of the most Grand Death Scene IMO...

I really can't accept the fact that Hina might have died. Though if she did indeed die, It was a very nice death. Right before dying she told Naruto that he was someone people could count on and that it was thanks to him that she became an honest and better person. Confessing love and then dying is always cool imo!
And let's face it, I was expecting someone's death to help Naruto he wasn't gonna go anywhere versus pain the way things were looking. He needed the RAGE KYUBI MODE RAWR phase to get him trough.
Shame though I expected his sage mode and new techniques to be enough versus pain.

they suddenly shifted gears killing one character after another!
i can no longer tell who's gonna die next... :roll:
I could care less whoever the hell goes next, I just wouldn't want to see/hear a miraculous crap sort of event/explanation that will sort of revive those characters who have already been killed by Pain. (I'd like to make an exception for Hinata though) - why even bother confessing if you're just gonna die a few seconds later... :cry:
