I think the marine reaction is going to depend about who's gonna falls on their side. If they lost admirals it might be hard for them to continue the pirate extermination. If it's a shichibukai it can be replace, there are a bunch of good pirate on Grand Line ^^.
What i'm waiting for is also how Blackbeard has taken down Magelan. Don't forget someone opened the Justice Gate, and it's for sure Blackbeard, cause the marines wouldn't do this. BlackBeard gonna have his word to say.

I like how you deduced the future of OP. Specially the whitebeard dying part, it has a real high chance of happening. Very good prediction, and I want to see Oda twist the story of one piece if that ever happens :D

Whitebeard is not going down without a fight there are two outcomes
with the death of Whitebeard and the weakened NAvy Pirates that were under restraint will surface the pirate age is more lively than ever
or
with the death of whitebeard petty pirates become afraid leaving only the ionsanely strong pirates to fight for one piece and of course more power struggle as one of the one king

Ironically, he got hit by a poisoned arrow in the leg. So in the end, to let his crew escape, he sacrificed himself.

I have a feeling that it's going to be a total wipe on both sides. The Whitebeards and the marines are both going to suffer heavy loses and Luffy comes in and beats some people down. I bet most of the crew will go there too if they've heard about Ace.

I just finished reading the recent chapters and I was really pleased with the authors choice to make hancock neutral. But at the same time Im wondering when luffy will finally arrive on the scene and what will happen when he does. Otherwise I get the feeling that things are just becoming more epic as the manga author unrolls chapter after chapter on us. Anyways Im really looking foward to the conclusion of this fight and where luffy will go from here after he rescues ace lol. But the thing that gets me really wondering is how in the hell is the straw hat crew going to reunite?

I hope sanji finally took this huge loss and decided to improve himself while he's away from every1, I mean he's my favorite crewmember and he's third strongest, but unlike zoro who trains alot , he does not maybe he'll finally start training now? I mean he must feel like crap for not being able to protect a single nakama.
