Bandai and Sunrise do not care what you want. Regardless of whatever YOU want in what gets made into an anime, they will bring out something that will appeal to a wider audience. Gundam has always been a toy commercial, and the fact that many of them have a good story and are enjoyable is purely incidental. Gundam is whatever Sunrise says it is, not what fans consider "serious." If only Tomino stuff is serious, then what's wrong with this show having kids when Uso was 13 and Judau was 14? Does ZZ count as "serious" with all the stupid things in the first half, which guess what - are targeted at KIDS.

You want to hate on AGE when only 3 so so quality scans are out and before it even sees the light of day? Fine go do that, but grow up and stop bitching. There's always going to be a ton of new Gundam material be it anime, manga, whatever. Gundam is going to continue to grow and not every new show will be in Universal Century. Don't like it? Well too bad deal with it because you're not Sunrise.

the discussion in mahq, turned into a one sided-bullying when someone clearly say he doesn't like Gundam AGE and also have predicted it will suck. Saying that he's a troll even though it's just a single opinion that you don't have to accept.

Typical Gundam start up sequence, kid gets in Gundam, typical action, oh and mom dies right in front of him in a fire when debris is falling on her. Yup definitely meant for toddlers. Aside from the character designs, nothing changed people.

well,the bottom line is just:better wait for the 1st episode and we can judge it by our own we do have different taste on the Gundam series.

Which should be done for any new show but some people are too quick to judge. They see one picture scan and in this case 3 so so quality scans and hardly a hand full of info about the show and boom, instant hate.

i was kinda in the hate side but because the debate's getting ugly around me,it's just better to wait and decide on our own judgements.

Hm... based on the trailer I'm kind of mixed about it. Certainly something I can watch with my little cousins who like mecha anime, but something that maybe I won't like on a personal preference basis.

Oh well, maybe the first episode can help me judge better.

I'll hold off my opinion of the show until I actually watch it, as prior experience has taught me that designs that may appeal to younger audiences can still deliver something worth seeing. Or, in my opinion in regards to MMZ, a better experience.

And it's not just based by just "3 scans", I've watched more than 500 animes and my Opinion comes from my experience about all the anime industry. My opinion maybe wrong, my opinion maybe right

I only said it's going to suck because it's going to be dumb down to a kid level of thought becaus eit's going to be written by Level 5 who's as famous as Pokemon, an then you go all-rage at me. So is this how you deal with a friend? Just a simple opposition opinion and you go "you're not my friend"?

@Catcher, I think there's fundamental difference with Megaman Zero and this, since Megaman Zero is an actual "sequel" to the series. Even my first thoughts "what a sequel to the series? must try"
