I think Tsubasa wanted her house to burn. That's why the tiger burned it down.

Man some of the faces they make are horrendous.

Wasn't expecting Hitagi to go into Homura mode when she found Tsubasa sleeping at the cram school. Well, maybe the slapping...but not the crying.

Also, aside from burning her house down, I'm sure that tiger is doing something else to Tsubasa.

Like making her subconsciously unable to tell "white" lies to some people (Example: when Hitagi asked if she still liked Koyomi.)

So you think that she doesn't like him?

I thought of Araragi as the knight in a damsel in distress situation.

Seeing how both Hitagi and Sengoku fell in love with Araragi. Although Sengoku might have been in love with Araragi since before that event.

Maybe it didn't affect Tsubasa, huh. That's an interesting thought.

No, I'm pretty sure he meant the "white lie" she was unable to tell was that she didn't like him, i.e. she does like him. She clearly told Hitagi that she likes him, therefore, going by this theory, that's the truth.

I think I'm reflecting everyone's opinion when I express how glad I am about how much time Senjougahara spent loitering around in her underwear.

Also, that yuri shower scene that we didn't get to see at the end. I hope somebody turns that part into a doujin.

So, the tiger was most likely involved in the house burning in some way, it remains to be seen how though. I noticed a couple of times that Senjougahara made references to events that happened when Hanekawa was Black Hanekawa. Was it ever made clear that she was in love with him other than when Black Hanekawa told him? And then there was the skipped chapter, which happened while she was asleep, which makes me think she might have turned into Black Hanekawa at that point. Senjougahara in tears was also kind of surprising, i wasn't aware she was so fond of Hanekawa. Maybe she isn't telling the full truth about what happened that night either? Can't wait for the next few episodes. This is all just speculation of course, felt like i needed to right down my different trains of thought after watching that.

I really like seeing the interactions between the characters from someones PoV other than Araragi. Also, Hanekawa is best girl!

The original: 白くて白々しい with shirokute (one character for 'white') and shirajirashii (doubled 'white' characters, meaning 'pure white' and also 'shameless' or 'bare-faced lying').

Unrelated: Hanekawa wears white panties. The tiger may just be a pervert.

I did read the first 7 LN chapters before watching this. The important content is there but there were a couple things that were skipped. Hanekawa's relationship with her parents is talked about a little more and why the Roomba even appeared are explained in detail. The LN is still worth reading even after its been anime adapted.

Seeing how this plays out without Araragi or Shinobu as oddity "experts" is going to be interesting. I'm betting someone else like Kaiki or Yotsugi's master will appear to provide some info on the tiger. It felt like Hitagi did a personality flip when she cried, but that's probably from being used to tsundra-tsundra Hitagi around Koyomi. Does Hitagi just strip every time she invites someone over? Why hasn't Kanbaru visited yet?

25/26 weeks from now will be early 2014. I'm looking forward to every Saturday until then. The movie may still not be released by then either.
