[Anime] NO GAME NO LIFE

So my best bet is that Sora lost because he didn't have Shiro, but since Elkia's king is "Blank" Shiro still needs to lose for them to lose Imanity. Thus the Warbeasts compromised with Sora to alter the deal slightly in preparation for their game with Shiro which somehow involves erasing all memory of Sora except Shiro's memory, quite likely something has happened to Imanity as well. Sora lost on purpose because he knew that they couldn't win the first game either because they were together or the game was rigged in an unforeseen way he need to use himself as a guinea pig for. This is exciting.

The Pervert Author

The negotiation scene got me moist figuratively. Sora really knows how to start a party, starting as a ridiculous goon before he gets his serious mode on. The moment the screen started glitching when Sora was about to leave her, I thought to myself that something bad was about to happen. Well, he disappeared, which I thought it was normal since I thought it's the effect of them being separated. But what really got me surprised was that the ending theme became all glitchy and corrupted, and Sora not being in the video as well. And then things started to get my eyebrows raising. Steph forgetting Sora. His contact number doesn't exist. It seems that he no longer exists in Disboard, probably even before they entered Disboard.

Initially I had the same thought, but if Sora's existence was erased from Disboard-Shiro never would've won the crown and shouldn't be anywhere near the castle in the epilogue. Probably what's happened is as close to wiping his existence as the Warbeasts could get by erasing the memory of everyone who is involved with him except Shiro.

Hoooooly shit Izuna is so cute! Sora is as badass as ever. I didn't expect anything after the credits though, so that was a nice surprise. I wasn't surprised by the fact that no one besides Shiro remembered Sora, since the way he vanished and all that.

CALLED IT. Well, half of it actually. So Sora's existence was indeed erased. And all Shiro has to do is to finish the game, and win ultimately. Though I never thought Sora would take it to the extreme just to get an elf, but he did gain Kurami's trust in the end. And once again, Sora had a trick up his sleeves. That reunion at the end got me smiling, though I'll admit that I thought the pairs are going to kiss each other at first.

The episode before deliberately exposed the knowledge of the Warbeast's ability to alter a person's memory so that over-analytical people would jump the gun that Sora's disappearance is Warbeast related, so that the surprise match with Kurami remains solid. But it wasn't a surprise match because Elvengarde knows the Warbeast secret about the game that Blank doesn't, so bothered by this Sora went out of his way to tie up some loose ends by planting some Elvengarde spies...and finishing up any real internal threats to the kingdom. So the real question is whether Sora intends on quickly rolling over Elvengarde to get their Warbeast secret or if he's just going to swoop in for the info and run out, I'm leaning more heavily on the latter.

I expected his existence to disappear, but at the fault of the Federation - not of the Fi's (and Kurami I guess). The fact that the game was still going was a neat little twist. heart/10 for when both pairs broke down into tears at the end. That was just adorable, cute, something among that line.

Well now...of all things for the werebeasts to pull, I didn't expect a teleportation to Tokyo of all places. I was expecting something more SAO-esque (even though an actual game like that would be far to easy for Blank).
