One thing that bugs me is that they managed to beat God once, but they have to prepare to beat the other species. Shouldn't God be able to do stuff like read minds? The only thing I can think of was that God was holding back during their first match.

Well that was a game of chess, along with it being in Blank's original world, however it will be more difficult because the game is going to be something else than simple computer chess.

They're a lot of very selective checks and balances in this series' world, for the sake of consistency in the series, god's may not be able to read minds. God's don't automatically equate to perfection and the highest form of self. As well, the game worlds' definition of a god(s) doesn't necessarily have to equate to any of the human worlds' definitions of "god(s)". They may simply be the highest form of intelligence/raw power in the game worlds' world, earning that title by beating all contenders. He may have legitimately lost within the constraint of that pc game's chess program, but the final bout between the three won't be limited to something so simplistic (in flashiness and scale).

Fair enough, it just seemed odd to me.

What is with this season of animes use of Loli's, Incest and Badass main characters?

No Game No Life: Badass main character, and a loli...
Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei: Badass main character and a sister who is basically offering her body to her brother...
Bokura Wa Minna Kawaisou: No issues so far, other than the one episode with the Loli...
Hitsugi no Chaika: Only seen the first episode, but so far we have a Badass Main character and a Loli. Possibly some incest romance (iirc the main character has a sister who is his partner)

I haven't watched this yet, but it looks SUPER cool so I just downloaded the first 7 episodes (which I think is all that's out) and look forward to watching it. Is there a major ecchi tag with this or is it safe to watch with my best friend? He's not somebody who really likes ecchi stuff at all.

Nope there's tits and ass all up the walls in this anime. I think it would be challenging to find one seinen anime this season that hasn't done anything remotely ecchi, which is weird considering the context.

Damn, oh well. Gotta find something else to watch with him then :\

You could watch it anyways and I could laugh at how awkward it gets during the ecchi. Err anyhow at the very least NGNL understands putting ecchi in a comedy context and although it's not the best choice for getting a person accustomed to ecchi in anime, he might as well get over that eventual dilemma with someone else at his side.
