[Anime] NO GAME NO LIFE

I still don't see how going super-saiyan will let Izuna dodge a bullet unless she moves faster than the bullet? If the Warbeasts had the game inside out, how were they fooled by Shiro trick? I guess you could say Izuna was caught in the moment, but following that line of thinking makes it feel like the Warbeasts make waaayy too many simple mistakes for the superpower they are lead to be. Also Horrible subs this time around were pretty bad, I had to rewatch because they had it wrong in two critical places.

I've noticed pretty much every major game so far has someone getting stripped one way or another. It doesn't detract from the plot either.

I may have missed something at that part...when clothes get hit, don't they disappear? That would've been a giveaway that Shiro was merely pretending.

I enjoyed the hell out of the air fighting sequences. Looks like Izuna has final form when she has fun. I expect her to join the squad when Blank wins. One episode remains. With the popularity and the skyrocket of LN sales, I expect a second season.

If you rewatch the scene where Sora is explaining everything to Izuna, you'll see that Shiro threw a button from her shirt at Izuna's love-bullet to intercept it and give off the heart animation.

Heh, Sora's reaction to failing to see a kemonomimi being bottomless and Jibril enjoying the "NTR" moment were priceless. Well, the game itself is pretty whack. Izuna's final transformation reminded me of some final bosses going through some sort of transformation which gets me frustrated. Also, I wonder how Stephanie is going to be useful in this game. Last episode here we COME!!!

The thing that really surprised me was the game. Specifically the fact that it is an actual game in real life. It's called Gal Gun.


That NTR moment with Jibril was priceless. Jibril and Izuna's bloodlust make me go dokidoki Especially that crazed smile that Izuna had when she saw her reflection.

And Izuna going into Werebeast form at the end...

Why the fuck did they get a muscular old warbeast with the cute loli warbeast package? Can't they exchange the old warbeast for that foxy miko?

So much win for the last ep. Does this anime have a good chance on getting an S2?

I feel a bit finicky about how they basically inserted Steph's victory over Izuna using very open-ended elements from earlier on in the arc but the impact of watching Sora and Shiro get nailed was definitely impressive. The coin flip was adrenaline pumping and well orchestrated. That cliff-hanger about the old gods taking the Warbeast race piece may never get answered.

Debating on season 2 from a completely inexperienced standpoint. Sixteeen is a really big number for season 2 to cover and considering this season covered only two of the race pieces, making more seasons for NGNL would be a huge profit investment and very risky. I'm not sure how NGNL would survive long term either. So I want to hang on "unlikely".

I don't think they'll be tackling 2 races per season. We could already see Kurami sabotaging the elves.

They might be going after different races at the same time. So that they wouldn't have a chance to attack them while their attacking some one else.

The LN ending of Izuna vs Kuuhaku was different from the anime ending. They kept the same feel to it in the anime which was nice to see. They did change the part where Izuna lost all of her clothes though. I'm disappointed we didn't get to see all the kemonomimi girls in the Eastern Union but it was worth the visual of the capital city. The Old Deus thing was not in volume 3 nor the start of volume 4. I can only guess this suggests a second season is possible when the LN's get that far. I'm waiting for blu-ray.

The other 12/13 episode series this season are going to have a hard time beating this one.

I have doubts the LN will have a volume or 2 for each of the 16 races. I think the author will change the pacing of the story, like Kuuhaku vs 2 or more races at the same time.

So far the LN's are laid out as follows
Volume 1: Kuuhaku vs Elkia
Volume 2: Kuuhaku vs Jibril and Kurami
Volume 3: Kuuhaku vs Eastern Union
Volume 4: Kuuhaku and the Dhampirs (think succubus)
Volume 5 involves the Flugel and I can't tell with Volume 6.

There is enough content for season 2 to be made right now. Since the LN's got animated it means they are selling well, even more so with the anime being well received.

I won't deny the possibility of inter-race conflict going on(in fact I'm excited by the idea and it's already happened if Old Deus took the Warbeast piece) and in hindsight I should have added in "if they move at their current pace it's too slow" but considering the already speedy nature of NGNL if they plan on condensing multiple race piece conflicts in one season it's either going to be extremely rushed or a miracle. Thinking long-term wise unless something groundbreaking happens like Blank receiving 1/3 or more of the race pieces simultaneously at some point (<-highly likely considering that time squabbling over the lesser pieces is going to be detrimental to the series after the rush from the greater pieces wears off), NGNL would likely need a third season to fully wrap up.

Nothing to say about last ep except that's so awesome. Yep, that's all...

While we're hoping for 2nd Season to comes, it's quite unlikely to happen any time soon (if ever). I recalled that there were some good shows in the past that were quite successful and still don't get any new Season until now. If only NGNL gets the same treatment like The World The God Only Knows... (3 Seasons+several OVAs so far) =3=

Last, if they are indeed continues the anime later on, I doubt Sora will go straight against that Old Deus in very beginning (unless to gather info, which means they'll not bet something as important as Warbeast' Piece). I mean, they spent quite lots of time to prepare against the Warbeast, how the heck they go unprepared against the No.1 Exceeds?

So that's what Stephanie has been up to, though I never knew that you could catch a ride on NPC's. Anywho, while it is expected for [] to win in the end, the significance of Fi and Kurami being there to watch the game got me wondering. The fact that Sora planned the false memory implantation as well as predicting the Warbeasts' retreat strategy in advance made me feel that I should run away from him should I happened to be playing Command & Conquer with him. Furthermore, Elkia just became a bigger nation while coexisting with the warbeasts. I'd expect some interracial relationships soon. And what a way to end the episode, with Sora and Shiro using the Shrine Maiden's powers to connect with Zeus. A good ending and a fantastic anime to watch for sure.
