Hmm this latest episode, if anything, put Kuroneko a notch higher on my list of characters I like in this series. I still love Kirino, despite her attitude at times.
@ZeroOBK yea well put there about "Mr Turtleneck" great analogy.

I agree. Kuroneko definitely shined in this episode for her brutal honesty. I just love the way that she talks. It may come off as a bit snobbish, but she honestly does care about being an artist and making sure that things are done properly.

Yeah, the reason why this episode seems to be much more rushed and such?
The studio created it on the spot, it wasn't in the original novel. That's why the pacing seems weird compared to what it has been, and why the time lapse is off as well as the characterization is a little strange.
Overall it wasn't such a bad episode, but it also lacked a lot of the elements that really make the story good.
Kind of funny in a way. An episode about a studio messing around with a novel and adding new content in an episode about a studio messing around with a novel and trying to add new content.

Interesting. I thought something was off.

Also, if that's the case then I question why they added Saori into the meetings.

I wonder how the writer of Ore no Imouto was able to pitch episode 8 to the producer and studio staff.
Anywho, I think KyÅsuke is going to spoil his sister if every time she meets adversity, he comes in a begs people to let her have her way.

I just watched episode 8 and realized that I missed episode 7...
So the development made no sense to me... So I can't really say anything about the pacing.
Aside from that, I really liked how this episode displayed Kuroneko's character. She is very blunt when it comes to criticizing, although not so much when it comes to displaying her own emotions.
I was kind of disappointed at how little a role Saori played throughout the entire thing though...

More than anything, I think it shows how although see can argue and stand up to her brother and other Otaku, she is really a quiet and vunerable girl.
Spoiler:
She obviously has something in her past she feels she was abandoned on or left on her own about.

Well, the actual Kuroneko rant is from the novel.
Except it was directed as someone who had plagiarized Kirino's novel.
