Star Driver: Kagayaki no Takuto

They will since its one of those shows that want to get your attention in the very beginning and then introduce you to the inner works of this world.

Now time to get Fabulous (This is the 12th time I said that in a Star Driver related post -_-;)

I know this is a little embarrassing to admit, because after all I was the one to create this thread, but I just couldn't get into it. I know it's only the first episode, but sometimes, when a series just overloads you with events and information right from the beginning, it makes me feel distracted and confused, and with the amount of shows that I'm probably going to watch this season, plus a huge research project, I'm going to have to pass on Star Driver.

I haven't seen this much FAAAABULOUS since Code Geass. And much to my surprise, they actually had Jun Fukuyama (VA for Lelouch) voice a character in the show. Sure he might not be the main character (That blue haired guy who's name I can't remember) but he seems like he will end up as a strong supporting character.

I saw the first episode last night, i think this will be a great series. the drawing style and explosions are remenicent of gurren lagann...this series will definetely one to watch

Holy shit, this episode had suspension of disbelief flying out the window. The plot had better start making sense by the next few episodes.

Fabulous first episode!

This have the chance the be the best anime this season for me. Great animation, interesting characters and of course mecha! Its studio Bones that did Eureka Seven which is awesome and I expect this one will be the same too. Episode starts with a grand entry of the main character. The mecha design kinda give me the Five Star Stories vibe.

A good anime as it looks from the first episode. Glad I watched it.

Yeah, I hate it when they don't reveal what the hell is going on. Everything you watch doesn't make any sense. But after reading ImperialX's post, I understand the story quite a bit now, so I'll track this one for a few more episodes, and see how it goes from there.

Makes you wonder though, if that's the third phase, what are the fourth and fifth phase like?

It's just so FAAAABULOUS~!!.

Besides, with a name like Galactic Pretty Boy you can't expect badassery like you got with TTGL.

Galactic Pretty Boy makes me laugh for half an hour....

It is quite good...didn't regret watching it..

Except now you can expect similar badassery like you got with TTGL...

Looks like the "Protagonist Sitting Spot Rule" is applied in this anime...

saw the second episode today...pretty good, i had already figured that the people around Takuto where apart of gilittering star group. once again this series amazed me as to how badass it can be with the fight scenes, even thought the main cybody comes off a little fruity. all in all a good second episode, can't wait to see more.
